Leicesterpool Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 Barmby gone, I think it's got Mick written all over it if not him then I think Darren Ferguson may get offered the job.
Guesty Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 Probably Ferguson but could see Phil Brown going back. Can't see anyone with anything to lose going to that sinking ship. Billy Davies I heard is in with a shout, which I don't understand as he demands money wherever he goes - Barmby just got sacked for asking for a 10'er.
Leicesterpool Posted 8 May 2012 Author Posted 8 May 2012 Barmby was a rubbish appointment for them, when Pearson left they should have gone for somebody like Davies. He could have come in and brought some new idea's and improvements to the team, I would say after January it was clear that Barmby had run out of ideas and lost the dressing room. When we went there in December they looked really good, come March they looked not even as half as good as they did in December. Like I say McCarthy will get the job, being a Yorkshireman might help him.
Leicesterpool Posted 8 May 2012 Author Posted 8 May 2012 Must be horrible for Barmby getting sacked from the club you support.
Leicesterpool Posted 13 May 2012 Author Posted 13 May 2012 I've read one or two rumours that McCarthy has been sighted in Hull
Jaspa Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 I want Windass to get it just for jokes But I can see Darren Ferguson or Billy D getting it C'mon Windass, this job was made for you!
Jaspa Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/exclusive-kevin-blackwell-is-favourite-to-succeed-830725 He's Gggggreat: Tigers want Blackwell to replace Barmby as boss Hull City owners have been impressed at Kevin Blackwell's record at Leeds, Luton and Sheffield Utd on a tight budget Kevin Blackwell is on Hull's shortlist to succeed Nicky Barmby as Tigers boss. Blackwell was approached by Hull through an intermediary over the weekend about taking over at the KC Stadium. Blackwell, 53, has been out of management since being controversially sacked by Sheffield United in August 2010, just two league games into the new season. He has carried on coaching and has been working in America and is due to go to Burkina Faso this summer. Hull owners Assem and Ehab Allam are impressed by Blackwell's record at Leeds, Luton and Sheffield United where he delivered success on a tight budget. He took both Leeds and the Blades to the Championship play-off final and the Allams feel he could take them back to the Premier League.
