Well done, you've won the league for the first time in 4 years.

You were on for the treble but Lemmon ballsed that one up didn't he.

We will be back.

No surrender !

I like the bit where he says 'we will be back' - Last I remember this was a Leicester forum and we don't play in Scotland? Do we have a second team supporter on our hands here? :P

That's cool, I follow the top club in every country too just to be covered.:fishing:

My grandad was from Glasgow, he followed Rangers, my dad follows Rangers and I follow Rangers.

That's the thing with this forum isn't it, people jump on the Celt*c bandwagon but everyone hates Rangers and anyone that supports / follows / looks out for 'Gers results are hammered for it.

If you're not part of the 'crowd' you get abused. Pathetic really.

I didn't really care who anyone supports in the first place tbh, I thought I was pretty clear that I was on the wind up. No one has to justify anything on a forum! If it wasn't apparent to you before, then hopefully it is now! lol

People always spin off that excuse of 'Oh you only think it's shit because only 2 teams challenge for the title'. Whilst that is true to some extent, it isn't my reason for disliking the league. The fact that everyone plays each other 3 or 4 times in a season is absurd. For me that takes the importance away from playing each other and I'm still amazed that the 'Old Firm' derby is still vaguely exciting - although that's down more to the fans than the actions on the pitch. There definitely needs to be more than 12 teams in that division so that ridiculous 'split season' format can be stopped. Unfortunately, there just isn't strong enough teams in Scotland to have 20/24 in the first division. But the thing I dislike about SPL the most is that I actually don't like the football played. It just isn't that great to watch apart from one or two matches per year. At least with each division with England, whether it be the Prem or League Two, you usually get a real exciting game 9/10 times.

You haven't spent much time at the Way this season, have you? lol

Yeah because Celtic aren't in debt.

Are Celtic set to go bust anytime soon?

They might have debt but it appears to be manageable.

All of you think Scottish football, SPL, isn't very good because only Rangers and Celtic challenge every year? Well, probably Celtic more than ever now.

What about the Premier League? That is as bad, for the next few season's the title will probably stay in the City of Manchester, as United and City challenge every season.

nPower Championship is where it is at!

You can't really compare a second-tier with top divisions, as the personnel at the top of the Championship will most likely change year on year with promotion and relegation, although Cardiff always seem to be near the top.

Only missed 6 games in total this season, home and away. Whether we win or lose - we're still entertaining right? We either win in such fashion or cock up spectacularly!

"And here's what you could have won".

Thank god Lennon was in charge otherwise it would have been a treble.

Because the SPL is the equivlent of League One.

You're blissfully ignorant aren't you.

His goalscoring record against Rangers is also excellent who are/were much better than League One standard. Fraizer Campbell scored a couple of goals against Middlesbrough and Norwich and got bumped up into the England squad. Jay Bothroyd got into the squad for a friendly against France!

Gary Hooper also scored 43 goals for Scunthorpe in 80 matches, most of which were in the Championship and he was around 21 years old.

It can't hurt to give the boy a chance in a friendly.

Still won two more trophies as a manager than McCoist. lol

Of course, McCoist is a joke.

Tell me, are the huns still bitching about the tainted title nonsense?

Don't think I even used "tainted" - it was a given title, not a tainted one.

Like I say, just glad Lennon was/is in charge, a Wim Jansen or MON and it could have been 3/4 concecutive trebles.
