hbkkids Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 Lifted the trophy today as they beat hearts 5-0. Gary hooper scoring all 5.
Matt Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 May be abit premature but well done to Celtic winning it next year aswell
hbkkids Posted 13 May 2012 Author Posted 13 May 2012 No point doing a spl next season. Just give Celtic the trophy now.
Guest shearfox Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 **** celtic, well done for what?! For winning a mickey mouse trophy...
Bert Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 Yeah well done Celtic for winning your first league title in 4 years.
The Doctor Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 Lovely stuff. So, safe to assume that Rangers have to cheat to win titles nowadays? edit: And Matt - if you find Scottish football dull, why not perhaps, not comment on it? I mean, I despise x-factor, but I don't go around moaning about it every time it comes up.
Corky Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 May be abit premature but well done to Celtic winning it next year aswell It's not Celtic's fault they've been run properly whilst Rangers haven't.
Fox92 Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 Did they get the trophy today? I know they won the League about two weeks ago...
lestajigs Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 HATE celtic fans there the biggest ***** ever, **** um
Petchy Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 Lovely stuff. acooling08 Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 Yes they sealed it today but it was won as soon as Rangers got that points deduction. God Scottish football is shite.
SemperEadem Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 Love Lenny and Parker but really find it hard to congratulate Celtic.
RonnieTodger Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 It's not Celtic's fault they've been run properly whilst Rangers haven't. This. It's not a tainted title if Rangers can't control a club properly and finish more than 10pts behind them. Why has Hooper not at least been given a chance for England?
Bert Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 It's not Celtic's fault they've been run properly whilst Rangers haven't. Yeah because Celtic aren't in debt.
AyewJoking Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 This. It's not a tainted title if Rangers can't control a club properly and finish more than 10pts behind them. Why has Hooper not at least been given a chance for England? Because the SPL is the equivlent of League One.
dave the caveman Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 There should be a subsection for the tinpot sunday league stuff
purpleronnie Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 There should be a subsection for the tinpot sunday league stuff Its called the championship.
Fox92 Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 All of you think Scottish football, SPL, isn't very good because only Rangers and Celtic challenge every year? Well, probably Celtic more than ever now. What about the Premier League? That is as bad, for the next few season's the title will probably stay in the City of Manchester, as United and City challenge every season. nPower Championship is where it is at!
Petchy Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 People always spin off that excuse of 'Oh you only think it's shit because only 2 teams challenge for the title'. Whilst that is true to some extent, it isn't my reason for disliking the league. The fact that everyone plays each other 3 or 4 times in a season is absurd. For me that takes the importance away from playing each other and I'm still amazed that the 'Old Firm' derby is still vaguely exciting - although that's down more to the fans than the actions on the pitch. There definitely needs to be more than 12 teams in that division so that ridiculous 'split season' format can be stopped. Unfortunately, there just isn't strong enough teams in Scotland to have 20/24 in the first division. But the thing I dislike about SPL the most is that I actually don't like the football played. It just isn't that great to watch apart from one or two matches per year. At least with each division with England, whether it be the Prem or League Two, you usually get a real exciting game 9/10 times.
