chris_lcfc_85 Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 Hi guys, is there any of you that went to Leeds game in the final match that could give us an indication on how this lad played? I went onto to the Leeds player ratings thread for days after the game but there was barely any mention of him on there, it was all about Panayiotou etc. I've not been fortunate enough to see him play in the 2 league games he's had as they've both been away
Mark_w Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 He looked pretty good against Palace as did Tom Kennedy, I'd hope that both get a look in next season. From what I saw of them, both are good enough as second choice RB/LB at least.
Carter The Boss Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 Hi mate I didnt go to Leeds but did see him at Palace away. I thought he had a decent game to be fair, showed his inexperience a couple of times but didnt play badly. With more exposure to the first team I can see him doing well, not necessarily first choice but a good backup. In his defence, we had been on a poor run before Palace, and we went on to win that game with a load of other changes (including Kennedy in at left back) so you could argue he had an effect. Depending on our squad depth next year i wouldn't mind him going out on loan to get a full season of first team football, then have him at a good level for 2013/14

From glimpses i've seen of him plus what i've read, i think he could be first choice RB in the future as he appears to have the attributes for that role
SaM 12 Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 in the mercury today it said peltier could be on the way out so next year could be a big year for him!!
Leicester Lass Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 He was pretty good at Leeds, coped well defensively and offered good support to the attack too.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 Was very good at Kettering, Got MOTM for me. Positioning is good and is an old fashioned tackler of the ball... Not afraid to put a foot in and he perfectly times his tackles... Very Ben Mee esque.
Lobsterboyuk Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 I thought he had a decent game at Leeds - very promising for his age
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 I honestly would rather play him at right back than peltier, lets be honest peltier hasn't set the world alight and he's definitely no spring chicken.
Danno Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 De Laet will be right-back, right ?? can play anywhere across the back four, I guess so.
lovelcfc Posted 17 May 2012 Posted 17 May 2012 Would be very happy for moore to play next season, wins headers, good on ball, puts a foot in, I wouldn't actually mind him being a regular next season although I don't think he will be another year or so and he'll be there
davieG Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 Merc Leicester City defender Liam Moore described his home debut as a dream come true. The 19-year-old, who was born in Loughborough and raised as a City fan, said he had dreamed of playing for the first team on home soil since he was six. Leicester City defender Liam Moore • • Moore, who is likely to retain his place against Charlton tonight after Saturday's 2-0 win against Peterborough, made his debut last season at Crystal Palace and played again on the final day of the season at Leeds. But he said it was a very proud day to pull on the blue shirt and run out at the King Power Stadium in front of friends and family on Saturday. "It has been amazing," said Moore. "I had an indication on Friday I was starting and I spent the night and the morning trying to get to grips with it. "It was the first game of the season and my home debut in front of a big crowd, and to get the points as well, I couldn't be happier. I have made two other appearances but they were all away, so it was a relief to play well on my home patch. "I was struggling to get enough tickets for my friends and family. "I had 10 turn up but I could have had double, so it was a very proud moment. "My mum and dad know how hard I have worked. I spoke to them on the morning of the game and said I had wanted to do this from the age of six. "To have done it, at home and in front of all of them, I couldn't be prouder. It is a dream come true." Moore's great moment could have been threatened by a suspected broken cheek bone after a knock in the Capital Cup win at Torquay last week, but he was relieved to get the all-clear after a scan. "After the game, Dave (Rennie), the physio, felt my face and thought there could possibly be a fracture, so it was a relief there wasn't. I probably could have still played with a mask but it was nice not to have that restriction." Moore is set to retain his place alongside captain Wes Morgan at the heart of the defence tonight when City travel to the Valley, and he is determined to take his chance. "It is a massive season for me," he said. "I am 20 this year and I have always said I want to break through with Leicester. "I have managed to play a few games now and I know I have to be consistent to stay in the team. I am full of confidence at the minute."
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 Really glad Moore has had his chance and hope he plays more in the future!
Bert Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 It always nice for one of your own to come through. It's even better that they're down to earth and humble.

Thracian Posted 21 August 2012 Posted 21 August 2012 I'm just glad he's getting the time on the pitch to make his case rather than disjointed cameos.

Definitely, and if his pre-season and Peterborough game are anything to go by, he'll go far with us. Looked solid with Morgan, and made some great tackles and passes - great quality for someone who's a way off peaking
