Levein, thumbs up or down?

Recommended Posts

I am obviously completely happy and thrilled with what he has done for us so far, average age, increased pace, solid but small squad, on paper, competition for places hopefully, renewed confidence in the coming season...

But what about everyone else, as I had a chat with someone else who thought that Adams policy of experience over youth "to do a job" was the way forward, and that we should have got Glenn Hoddle when he was available....

your thoughts please!

IMO he is doing everything right. Getting rid of the deadwood ala Stewart and Heath and bringing in young , hungry and confident players ala Hughes and McCarthy. I am very confident and i think that CL can bring back the good times to City! :D

Levein's the best thing to happen to our football club since MON and before that, Matt Gillies and David Gibson in the 60's.

The club should love him, cherish him and make sure he's so happy at the club that he never wants to leave.

Especially now that he's all-but-signed a forward!!!

the first ten games will shatter some of your optimism as the players will not have played much together by then, i think we will be lingering mid-table until after these first set of games..

..then we will see the real city take shape!! Top 6 i am now confident of.

wont shatter mine, its a marathon not a sprint and some of us have seen many many long and painful seasons! lol

So far so good.

I like his ideas and plans, the club is being managed the right way for once. I just hope he can get things right because he is definately the man for the job.

I absolutely love the fact that he is building for now and the future, think we've got perfect balance of youth and experience, and with players like Dublin and Wilcox in our squad, we should be sorted. Only slight concern is the lack of home-grown players, but if the quality isn't coming through, what can you do eh??....

Didn't we all say that with PT and MA, and look how that ended

Oh the memories :D

Maybe Colly, but PT not 6 months after he took over and with MA not after he opened the Leicester City Evergreen Club. CL doesn't look to be following either of them.

Up.

I like what Levein is doing at the moment. He is building a squad he could keep for a few years and for the future. it looks promising but only time will tell. At the moment its thumbs up!

I think he's doing a great job so far and i cant' wait for the season to start. I think with the signings he has made i think we look much more stronger as a team than we did at the beggining of last season.
