HEGGSY Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Anyone watching this? I always find it quite entertaining. Hopefully its as good as 2010.
HEGGSY Posted 27 May 2012 Author Posted 27 May 2012 Just started a thread in gen football and sport. Mods merge if necessary.
Jimothy Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Just put it on. Will give it go for a bit see how it plays out. Not expecting a great match but might be a good laugh.
DJMadness29 Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Sorry, Checked and wasnt one, and couldnt decide where to put it . You beat me by a minute
Matt Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Normally a good laugh. Serge is playing for the ROW team aswell, think I heard Martin Keown is playing for England.
DJMadness29 Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Just hoping it doesnt seem as fixed as last time. Woodys penalty was shocking and Theakston just dived over the ball.
Jimothy Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 8pm Really? 8pm! I thought it would be 7. If it's 8 I'm switching over until kick off!
Jaspa Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Is Zidane playing again ? Yeah ! I want to know the answer to this guys question too ! Does anybody know if Zinedine Zidane is playing again this year ?!
Rincewind Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Just switched it over and its 6.50 and on. In the info guide its got 6-9pm
The Year Of The Fox Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Don't think Zidane is. There was the lineups in the Sun this morning. Serge is playing for the ROW
HEGGSY Posted 27 May 2012 Author Posted 27 May 2012 Playing for England will be: John Bishop, Marvin Humes, Jason Isaacs, Paddy McGuinness, Aston Merrygold, Olly Murs, Mark Owen, Ben Shephard, Jamie Theakston and Jonathan Wilkes with Robbie Williams as Captain. They will be joined by football legends Graeme Le Saux, Martin Keown, Kevin Phillips, David Seaman, Teddy Sheringham and Des Walker. Sam Allardyce will be the Manager with Peter Reid as Assistant Manager and Bradley Walsh as Coach. Playing for Rest of the World will be: Gerard Butler, Joe Calzaghe, Will Ferrell, Woody Harrelson, Patrick Kielty, James McAvoy, Mike Myers, Ed Norton, Sergio Pizzorno and Gordon Ramsay with Michael Sheen as Captain. They will be joined by football legends Hernan Crespo, Roy Keane, Clarence Seedorf, Jaap Stam, Edwin Van Der Sar and Freddie Ljunberg. Kenny Dalglish will be the Manager with Ian Rush as Assistant Manager and Eric Harrison as Coach. I really want Keown to go in for a crunching tackle on Dalglish. (Playing the ball obviously)
Corky Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Mike Myers and Roy Keane in central midfield together. What a sight that would be.
Matt Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 England Squad; Robbie Williams Olly Murs Aston JLS Marvin JLS John Bishop Jamie Theakston Ben Shephard Jonathan Wilkes Jason Issacs Paddy McGuinness Mark Owen Martin Keown Teddy Sherringham Graham Le Saux Des Walker Kevin Phillips David Seaman Rest Of The World Squad; Will Ferrell Michael Sheen Serge Pizzorno James McAvoy Gerard Butler Mike Myers Gordon Ramsey Patrick Keilty Edward Norton Woody Harrelson Joe Calzaghe Roy Keane Jaap Stam Freddie Ljungburg Hernan Crespo Clarence Seedorf
Rincewind Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 18.00-22.00 its on so KO could be 8pm. Was starting to watch QI. Have got a hour of natter?
Jaspa Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Kevin Phillips is probably our best shot Other that that were f***ed Clarence and Roy Keane And I hate Olly Murs with all my heart, granny smasher

Are they as high profile as say Robbie Williams?

Are they as high profile as say Robbie Williams? Really? You've never heard of Will Ferrell, Ed Norton and Woody Harrellson? Harrellson has been a Hollywood star for probably 20 years. Ferrell has been in huge movies like Anchorman, Elf, Wedding Crashers and Step Brothers. and Ed Norton in things such as The Italian Job remake, Fight Club, and Americsn History X. And you haven't heard of John Bishop? Not only is he one of Britains most popular comedians, he recently spent a week cycling, rowing and running from Paris to London for Sports Relief. It was all over the news, TV and Radio, you'd have to have lived under a rock to have missed it!
Leicester_Numan Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 I've watched the last 3 and i'm watching this one. It's usually a good game. Calzaghe is pretty useful. Ramsey is a decent defender if his knees hold up. We've got Theakston in goal second half. That's when we'll lose the game. He's useless
Fox92 Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Dalglish: "I know you've been here since Wednesday, but you haven't turned up" lol
