Finnegan Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Obviously I'm aware he's a legend of the sport and the rest are mostly celebs but the gulf in class between Seedorf and, well, everyone else, really is immense. Emphasizes just how much there really is to being a world class footballer.
Leicester_Numan Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Calzaghe looks like he's put 4 stone on since last year. He's fatter than me now. It's like watching Neil Ruddock. Theakston's got fat as well. Theakston nearly buggered that one up
Jimothy Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Nice finish from Wilkes. Obviously helped by having Patrick Kielty in goal.

Finnegan Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 the fact he's just played the whole season for AC Milan is a bit of an advantage Well obviously. Not suggesting anything to the contrary. I'm just saying it's interesting to see him play alongside amateurs, it really brings it home.
Jimothy Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Makes a change seeing an Owen actually come off the bench to play at Old Trafford.
Leicester_Numan Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Rest of the world are nowhere near as good as usual. I blame Dalglish
DJMadness29 Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 'Jamie Theakston there like a cat... A well fed cat but still a cat' Quality
Haydos Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Wilkes looked right at home. Decent player. Love Clarence though!

Emphasizes just how much there really is to being a world class footballer. I was thinking this. When the top players play against each other they sort of cancel each other out. But seeing people like Seedorf, Ljungberg, Phillips et al against non-pros shows just how good they really are. I really enjoyed this game.
StanSP Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Teddy Sheringham annihilating Ramsay along with Serge's sexy goal were the best parts of the game. Clarence Seedorf . What a man.
Rincewind Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Think they used one of Ramsey's egg timers for the injury time.
Matt Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Serge's dedicates his goal to Tom as he's just had a baby, Tom Meighan? He did say his brother. Don't think it'll be Tom from the band.
