Vics Rant – Co Op Stand Eviction Of the Imps for Leicester City

AUG 2

Posted by savethemightyimps

Leicester City was supposed to be the pre-season biggy but good old Bob and co Lincoln City have ignored the feelings of their ‘supporters’ in the interests of an easy life. Yes the Foxes will bring a few but Nottingham Forest, a similar sized club only brought 1069 and even Celtic were accommodated along with the Imps in a stand that holds 5700.

A quick Vic Erzantarz rant.

This is the home stand for heavens sake, yes we have a home end but the majority of Imps live here during a game. It has the best view and the best facilities unless you are munching on the prawns – and I see the club are outsourcing that too. Food mark up is a trick we have been missing out on around the stadium for a while yet now the club will get even less of the action.

Mind you the spin will doubtless put us right as the rose tinted team spread the club gospel. Which brings us nicely back onto the matter of the excuse for the eviction of the Imps… and this one is more cast iron than the burst pipes prior to the fans protest. Although the police recomendations have something to do with it, the fact is that there is sufficient segregation. Or, on this logic Grimsby should be given the whole of the Co Op stand on Boxing Day. Maybe Mansfield should be given the stand too? We are playing Stockport and Luton on a Saturday so who knows?

vic.jpg

Is it any wonder that none of the tough questions will be sent or heard at the Directors Forum tonight? Because those who have not already voted with their feet are overcome with apathy or annoyed that favoured fan groups are guilt tripping us into putting our hard earned in above and beyond the gate money

Yep, looking at the antics this week it looks like the Fear and loathing at Lincoln City is increasing from simmer to boiling point.

He has a slight point though, the normal away end holds 1,900 and I honestly thought we would be taking 1,500 max. Who knows though, if some fans fancy it on the day etc :dunno:

Think that must be there worry, they are worried with a walk up on the day that we will have more than 1900. If the weathers nice then who knows, but I doubt it.

Although I'd agree with you. I was amazed by how many turned out for the Hinkley game so you never know!
