Guest Posted 9 June 2012 Posted 9 June 2012 Much more interesting than the other boring question. Surely?
Fox92 Posted 9 June 2012 Posted 9 June 2012 Where did we come from? Why are we here? Where are we going?
Zingari Posted 9 June 2012 Posted 9 June 2012 God had a week off from doing other godly stuff and thought , "i need a hobby"
Rincewind Posted 9 June 2012 Posted 9 June 2012 Why did God create the Earth in the dark before creating the sun.
Guest Posted 9 June 2012 Posted 9 June 2012 I felt like it. More difficult in the dark. I had my eyes closed too.
ithuriel Posted 9 June 2012 Posted 9 June 2012 Why is the universe here, why are we here, accident or design? If it is an accident then nothing much matters really bar the values you have that you live your life by but if it was by design it opens up a whole load more questions. Since we will probably never know it just comes down to philosophy and a belief of some kind.
Daggers Posted 9 June 2012 Posted 9 June 2012 Porn. Without the Universe there would be no spunk bubbles and 2girls1cup. It's all about the porn.
The Doctor Posted 9 June 2012 Posted 9 June 2012 Porn. Without the Universe there would be no spunk bubbles and 2girls1cup. It's all about the porn. Too right
MooseBreath Posted 9 June 2012 Posted 9 June 2012 Wouldn't it be cool if like, the whole universe is just like one molecule in some school kid's science project
FoxyPV Posted 9 June 2012 Posted 9 June 2012 By accident. The different parts of the being's mind were represented by an angel singing, the process of which physically created the desired object. One day they all got together around the water cooler in the office for a union meeting and one began singing. The rest couldn't refuse this challenge and they all sang together and the universe was created as their voices harmonises and things of unimaginable wonder began to form.
ithuriel Posted 9 June 2012 Posted 9 June 2012 Would be quite funny if God did exist but he never meant to make us, we just evolved to mess up his plans and he is watching us out of some curious fascination like a jar of mould
BoneDog Posted 10 June 2012 Posted 10 June 2012 'It just did', is the answer my Taoist friend gives. He's a master of Tai Chi and Ba Gua so I respect his authority, but I don't respect his conversational method regarding the point of the universe. I say to him, "I wish you'd elaborate a little on why "It just did"', and he just says, 'Wish all you like, it doesn't affect me'. So frustrating.

We've survived this long without knowing and if we did find out it wouldn't change anything.
jonno24 Posted 10 June 2012 Posted 10 June 2012 Tbh i think the question what is our role in the universe is more suited to where we are as a species right now. We can save the BIG question for when we are more advanced as a race. The universe isnt going anywhere soon.
