MooseBreath Posted 18 June 2012 Posted 18 June 2012 To be fair, Croatia are a lot more well drilled and experienced than England would be. I'd still back Spain to beat you, especially over 120 minutes. Tell us more, oh wise one
shen Posted 18 June 2012 Posted 18 June 2012 Spain might be boring, but Italy are shit. They've struggled to produce anything of note against a side both Croatia and Spain very comfortably disposed of. Would love to see an Irish equaliser... Can someone tell me how Italy top the group? Best GD in the games between Spain and Croatia (2-2) whereas Spain's and Croatia's is 1-1. That's why.

Thought Italy were great against Spain. **** off Spain.
ScouseFox Posted 18 June 2012 Posted 18 June 2012 Spain have literally not even come close to looking threatening against either Italy or Croatia. They're lucky Ireland were woeful. If we set up two banks of four like we did vs France and like both Croatia and Italy have done we could beat these. They wouldn't be able to cope with big Andy. Looks like we'll test this theory in the quarters, anyway
Finnegan Posted 18 June 2012 Posted 18 June 2012 Tell us more, oh wise one You can be as touchy as you want, Radovan, this Croatia side is better than England. Good goal that, though, great chip.

Finnegan Posted 18 June 2012 Posted 18 June 2012 Is that Radovan? He always used to use up his bile on England, so there must be some mistake. "Radovan" wasn't Serbian, it was just Chandler's then alter ego. He's English again as Caveman Dave, apparently. Strange man.
shen Posted 18 June 2012 Posted 18 June 2012 Thought Italy were great against Spain. **** off Spain. They were good. But people also said Spain were shit in that game. It's a bit more grey than great/shit. Seems footie fans have a very limited vocabulary. Spain were many classes above Ireland while Italy have struggled to see them off. Edit: Balotelli scoring a great goal as I type.
Guest Bilo Posted 18 June 2012 Posted 18 June 2012 LOOOOOOOOO LIE THE FIELDS OF RAW DYKES ROAD! WHERE ONCE WE WISHED DENNIS WISE WOULD DIE! OUR LLOYD PLAYS ON THE WING WE HAVE DREAMS AND SONGS TO SING IT'S SO LONELY BY THE FIELDS OF RAW DYKES ROAD! That's what the Irish fans are singing right?

You say that, but Croatia didn't make easy work of qualifying. In fact, if memory serves, they came second to a poor Greek side.
MooseBreath Posted 18 June 2012 Posted 18 June 2012 All this singing despite defeat is a bit embarrassing really. Just go home, collect your benefits and go and sit in grim little pubs where you belong.

purpleronnie Posted 18 June 2012 Posted 18 June 2012 Really? If it was england he'd be wetting his pants.
