Trav Le Bleu Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 Body found at the grandmother's house and police want to question her boyfriend. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-19214964 Have to say I have been suspicious it was a family member. Their constant trying to find fault in everything else screamed to me a state of denial - perhaps maybe that they knew it was their own doing. Very sad.

Guest MattP Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 Aye I said the same on Facebook in the week to someone, you could tell it was something local as even after a week the Police werent even bothering to search anywhere outside the estate they were on. So either that or a Shannon Matthew job. It got me when he said she had gone to get shoes from a certain shop etc, you generally don't remember things like that in situations like this, he was that thick I dont think he grasped the fact the Police would have checked all sort of CCTV from buses/shops and when there was no sign of her anywhere it wouldn't be hard to know where to concentrate your search.
Jace Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 Shocking isn't it? That weird step grandfather who everyone was pointing the finger at was like 'na not me whys everyone blaming me' on the news, and now no one knows where he is. I know a lot of people are defending the police and saying well they needed a warrant to search the house but 7 days seems a very long time to search the place she was last seen, especially considering the kid was in the care of a dodgy relative who has dated both the missing child's mother and grandmother and done time recently in jail
Fox92 Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 I agree Jace. Did you see how many things he'd actually done, was in the paper?!

Yeah it was shocking I'm sure the police have their legal reasons why it has taken so long just makes me so annoyed how he was such a obvious suspect even all the public blamed him yet he's been allowed 7 days to not even have the scene of the crime checked properly in that time he could of taken evidence away anywhere to have been destroyed and even more stupidly the suspect has done a runner and got away

Though judging by how thick he was I can't see his escape plan being to complex. He'll probably turn up for the funeral.

Protesting his innocence in the news all week surely he must of thought sooner or later someones going to find the body. I'm sure the police will find him over the next couple of days but he should never of been allowed to get away. If there was not enough reason to arrest him which is hard to believe anyway then they should of been keeping watch over his movements for sure
kingfox Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 Very sad. But like others have said, you didn't really want to think it but I also thought after seeing the grandma's boyfriend, that he had something to do with it. So it hasn't come as a surprise to see they want him as the person responsible. The sick, depressing and sad thing about it, is that the body has probably been in that house for a whole week, that is just sick and damn right wrong.
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 Not shocked by this in the slightest. No nor me.. The longer the search went on the more bleak the outcome was.
MooseBreath Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 Have to agree, it was obvious without even seeing the bloke, just from the comments coming from the family in the first couple of days that something was a bit off. Not in the slightest bit suprised at the outcome. Tragic, though.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 The step-grandad who is the ex step-dad crack cocaine dealing burglar is literally the worst sort of person. These people should be chemically castrated and put down the sewers
Guest MattP Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 The step-grandad who is the ex step-dad crack cocaine dealing burglar is literally the worst sort of person. These people should be chemically castrated I was amazed he was even a suspect, he looked like such a fine upstanding member of the community. Hopefully the day will come where folk like him and Mick Philpott are removed from society by any means possible rather than glorified on Jeremy Kyle while the rest of the nation works hard and pays them to produce even more scum. I'm not holding my breath though.
Guest MattP Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 Apparently he's been arrested. Caught at the entrance to Glyndbourne, the cops knew he wouldn't be able to resist tonights Opera.
Fox92 Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 Yeah he has; Tia Sharp case: Stuart Hazell arrested Police had advised the public not to approach Stuart Hazell The partner of Tia Sharp's grandmother has been arrested on suspicion of murder, the Metropolitan Police has said. Police were searching for Stuart Hazell, 37, after a body was discovered at Christine Sharp's house in New Addington, Croydon, earlier. Tia, 12, went missing from the house last Friday. Mr Hazell was arrested in Merton, south London, at 20:25 BST after he was identified by a member of the public. He is in police custody. A murder investigation was launched after police searching for Tia found a body. They are yet to identify the body but the family has been informed. Earlier, Met Commander Neil Basu said there had been four searches at the property in the past week, two with sniffer dogs, including a search of the girl's bedroom.
I am Rod Hull Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 Its a sad twist of fate. He could have been on the BBC morning Olympic sofa, had a stamp with his face on it and his local postbox painted gold if he`d had a public school education. Poor bloke.
SystonFox Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 Such sad tragic news and absolutely vile and disgusted how a human can do that to another human and then to bury them in the garden of the family home. Heart wrenching. Almost brings me,a man of 25 years of age, to tears. I have three younger sisters, two of them aged 9 and 14 and I would feel sorry for somebody if they hurt my relatives. It wouldn't be a pretty sight after I'd finished with them. C u n t s
BoneDog Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 Surprised the sniffer dogs didn't pick something up on their earlier visits. Also surprised that they lost tabs on him but at least they've caught him now.
Jace Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 The bloke appears to be a complete ****up I wonder what crap he will say this time
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 Just listened to his interview with itn. Sounds like an absolute ****. Also if he has buried her do not be surprised if the gran gets pulled for aiding and abeting. Just hope she wasn't sexually assaulted first. Such a tragic waste of a young life. I would love 10 mins alone with scum like this. I would end the mother****ers!!
SystonFox Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 Ending them would be far too easy. Hope he suffers far worse at her majesty's pleasure. A meeting with Rory the bastard is in order I believe
