AKCJ Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 or http://www.thefirstr...tt-skelton.html comes with the expected pop ups, little red X's. Do the normal and settles. Prefer the sound quality of this one, thanks very much lads.
pSinatra Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 Here goes!! I have no idea what I am about to see?? If Freddie doesn't make a tit of himself it can be deemed a success
pSinatra Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 I think his opponent is being too kind. It's only a matter of time until he throws a bomb & goodnight!!
purpleronnie Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 He's thrown one punch and put freddie down.....I'm sure he could finish this if he wants...makes you wonder what he's been told.
AKCJ Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 This is appaling to watchfrom a boxing perspective, good entertainment though.
purpleronnie Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 Let's just hope win/lose/draw its freddie's last fight.
purpleronnie Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 well he's certainly been the more aggressive.
ScouseFox Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 Don't think his opponent will make much of a career from boxing, really.
Tom17LCFC Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 I enjoyed that in a really strange way. Fair play to Flintoff, Dawson is woeful.
purpleronnie Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 Its so strange that freedie seem to go for the windmill approach...just odd.
AKCJ Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 I think one problem is that he didn't hate the guy yet he was desperate to put him to sleep. Well, he's won anyway.
purpleronnie Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 Yeah I think it was derserved, never seen a boxer not target punches before, you see better technique in a pub fight.
ScouseFox Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 Fair play to him, he wanted to do it and he went out and went for it and got the win. Not the best to watch or the best standard, obviously, the guy's a cricketer, but you can't knock him for that. Played Fred.
pSinatra Posted 30 November 2012 Posted 30 November 2012 He punches like a 34 year old who's never been in a boxing ring in his life. I didn't enjoy that at all. There is no way his opponent was as bad as he has just shown. He was fat & slow, but he should have been able to bully Freddie quite easily. It takes some guts to get in the ring, but that win was paid for. I would have preferred to see Freddie get his arse kicked. Boxing was the loser.
Guesty Posted 1 December 2012 Posted 1 December 2012 Fair play to Flintoff that took a lot of guts. But shame on the boxing board of control, commentators and promoters for allowing, promoting that as a fully licensed professional fight. Flintoff slapped more than a dominatrix and did you see the look on Dawsons face when he dropped him: 'Oh shit, please get back up or I'll lose my purse, this isn't in the script.' The bloke barely threw his right-hand, even Flintoff knew that it's a good idea to throw your best weapon. Nights like tonight when you can see why boxing is losing popularity; money and publicity over credibility.
Guest MattP Posted 1 December 2012 Posted 1 December 2012 Bizarre. Very bizarre. It wasn't even boxing was it??? Wish I had more on now, knew Dawson would be shit but didnt realise how bad, god know what Jameel Williams was like My site got a thousand hits from that fight alone tonight, incredible.
