An Away Ground you'd love to visit

I would love to go and see the Maracana Stadium in Rio. It's unbelievable how they once nearly hit the 200,000 mark in attendance.

Many years ago, I visited on an unofficial tour when the capacity was around 150,000. There was a lift to the top of the stands and I still remember looking down in awe at the size and immensity of the ground.

I would like to go the Nou Camp, preferably to see a game v R Madrid.

In this country, I'd like to go the Emirates - perhaps next season?

Where's this one too, that's quality!

It's Braga. It only has two stands with sheer rock faces behind either goal, and is carved out of an old quarry. Incredible piece of design.

I fancy a Millwall trip one day.

It's really, really shit. The only good part of a Millwall away day is visiting the pubs around London Bridge pre-match.

Good luck playing in there chaps.

Where's that?

As for awaydays, with Leeds I'd love to do Notts County. A couple of hundred Peterborough fans on their Kop was cracking, would love to see it full of Leeds.

Villa away would be cracking, as would Fulham.

Been to Dortmund full sell out against Wolfsburg and it really is a place of football worship, not too expensive either as the fan's have kicked off in protest numerous times when prices have threatened to go up, the sudtribune is really something to behold.

Tynecastle i've also been to and although traditional in appearance the Heart's supporter's didn't impress and Edinburgh is inferior to Glasgow in terms of love for football I felt.

San siro was my first trip abroad for a game at Inter Milan and to this day has been one of my greatest, the stadium on tv doesn't do it justice and much like old trafford, the restoration and building onto it hasn't detracted the history, wonderful place.

Places i'd like to visit for a game, Nou camp of course is up there, i'm yet to go, Valencia's new mestalla looks the business having been there throughout it's stages of construction. I'm off to Munich in a week's time but couldn't get Bayern tickets, they are so expensive and Bayern have a massive fan base yet still the Allianz is a great ground, will try to get some pics. In this country, Newcastle United has always been on the list, Elland road is still to be done and Parkhead in Scotland after recently doing Ibrox is a must.

All pics and reports of stadiums mentioned are on my website www.barandin.blogspot.com

It's an old stadium in Korea or Japan, I forget which - they stopped using it for sports and it became a housing showroom of sorts before being demolished.

In England Goodison Park. I'd love to see City win there with a packed out away end.

In Europe, I was impressed with the new Juventus Stadium when I saw it at the start of the season, also Dortmund.
