Dan Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 I wouldn't risk it. The time I went they had stewards check your tickets after the scanners to make sure you'd paid the full silly price. Could've won every game this season but I just refuse to go to an away game that ticks every single box of being wrong with modern football. I'm out and will be regarding Leeds until there is serious change.

Hopefully the takeover will bring about a change in the pricing system but I'm not optimistic, suppose I'll only go if it's a really important fixture.
promised land Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Young Pearson's railcards. i like that. Do you have to ask Nigel for these then?
Dan Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Which there will never be and therefore you shall never go to Leeds away again. So be it. It's shit and over-rated anyway. Ok thanks, I think I'll give it a miss if that's the case. Hopefully the takeover will bring about a change in the pricing system but I'm not optimistic, suppose I'll only go if it's a really important fixture. It won't be changing this season, maybe in future but until I hear of serious change I won't be giving them another penny. I wouldn't put it past these new owners to not change the price but looking at it logically... 20k they got yesterday. 20k against top of the league, Saturday 3pm, the first time there's been any serious positivity around the club and they still only half fill the ground, that's a huge call to cut the price.
chavdonk Posted 26 November 2012 Posted 26 November 2012 Is there a pub in Leeds where all the City fans will be pre-drinking for the match??
Wakeyfox Posted 26 November 2012 Posted 26 November 2012 Anyone know how many we've sold? Just rang the ticket office to see if you can pay on the gate (which you can) and the guy said we had sold 900 Is there a pub in Leeds where all the City fans will be pre-drinking for the match?? Will be in the Drysalters pre-match - fairly away-friendly and only 5 mins walk to the ground. Also can park near here and getting away after back towards the motorway is a doddle.

Probably the only real option for you near the ground.
Guest MattP Posted 26 November 2012 Posted 26 November 2012 Go in the Peacock, always good for a laugh.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 26 November 2012 Posted 26 November 2012 Im going against my word....made £45 on things i've sold, plus get paid tomorrow so I'm going now. Pay on the gate, im getting an u16 ticket. If they ask for id i'll just say "I have none since im 15" Hopefully i don't get a cuntish steward
Halfsy Posted 26 November 2012 Posted 26 November 2012 I've just bought my ticket, still can't believe i've paid £34. It's only my fifth game of the season after getting to Priority One last season, (I now work on Saturdays for another club, unfortunately) but I know quite a few Leeds fans and am looking forward to seeing us play again. I wouldn't be surprised if there was under 20k there tomorrow night though, if we take 1,000 I think that'd be a decent following. In terms of the scanners, both times I have been stewards have been checking and in some cases ejecting those fans who haven't been fleeced enough already, so I personally wouldn't risk it. See you in the Drysalters!

acooling08 Posted 26 November 2012 Posted 26 November 2012 I wouldn't be going to this if the tickets were £10, Tuesday night awayers are just a no-no altogether for me. Plus I went to Sheff Wednesday 3 days ago.

Dan Posted 26 November 2012 Posted 26 November 2012 Jesus Wept, look at the horrible fvcker, should've auditioned as Miss Trunchbull from Matilda, would've done a decent job of that and wouldn't have to put up with her at Leeds.
Fox92 Posted 26 November 2012 Posted 26 November 2012 The she-devil will be there https://fbcdn-sphoto...800247581_n.jpg Last time I went, which was when we won 2-1 under Sven, she was walking around trying to get everyone to sit down.
scinnell Posted 27 November 2012 Posted 27 November 2012 last time i went the she devil threatened to throw me out if i kept standing up, took no notice of her anyway
Maybes Posted 27 November 2012 Posted 27 November 2012 Be interesting to see how many people stumped up the £34.
Voll Blau Posted 27 November 2012 Posted 27 November 2012 Be interesting to see how many people stumped up the £34. Whoever they are I'm sure they'll look forward to paying close to £40 there next season...
Sods Posted 27 November 2012 Posted 27 November 2012 Whoever they are I'm sure they'll look forward to paying close to £40 there next season... Surely not in League One?
