anotherharboroughfox Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 https://petitions.wh...an-usa/cbpHr9R2 First Piers Morgan became the subject of a petition calling for him to be deported from the US for upsetting the gun lobby there. Now a counter-petition has been started, asking for America to keep him – not because he’s popular there but (allegedly) because no one here wants him back.
Jace Posted 28 December 2012 Posted 28 December 2012 I don't usually take part in partitions due to the vast numbers usually required and myself not wanting to use up my own time to make such little contribution but in this case I would love to sign
Jon the Hat Posted 28 December 2012 Posted 28 December 2012 The bloke is a tit, but he is absolutely right on gun control. He might actually do some good as the most outspoken critic of the NRA etc. The petitioners make themselves look like fools.
James. Posted 28 December 2012 Posted 28 December 2012 Did I read right that one of the guys he interviewed about the recent school shooting said that the teachers should have been given guns and then the deaths could have been avoided? Keeping him in the US achieves two things - firstly it means he's not here which is good because he is a massive nob and secondly it means he can continue to highlight the sort of idiotic arguments like the above and hopefully add some weight to the argument for those calling for gun reform. A petition worth signing.
Jon the Hat Posted 28 December 2012 Posted 28 December 2012 There is no actual threat of him being deported you know... This is a bit of fun.
Rincewind Posted 28 December 2012 Posted 28 December 2012 Don't know about the teachers being armed but I did see there were calls for ex-army blokes to stand guard with automatic rifles etc. Can you imagine the mayhem if one phycho recruits other physchos to attack a school? In Britain bank robbing with guns was rare until 1963. The year of the train robbery. Criminals then thought If I am going to get 30 years for robbery I will give myself a better chance of getting away as the sentence for murder is the same.
