20% off Wolves tickets if you spend £20

I swear these ticket offers are becoming weirder every time, or more desperate.

Spend £20 on Official Leicester City Merchandise this month and you can earn money off tickets for the visit of Wolverhampton Wanderers with our 20/20 January Sale.

Complete a merchandise transaction worth £20 or more at the City Fanstore or through the City Sales Centre (0844 815 5000) and we’ll give you 20% off up to six tickets for the home game against Wolves on Thursday 31 January (kick-off 7.45pm).

So basically no ones really gaining here.

OK you get a free ticket if you buy 6 (very unlikely) but then you've spend the £20 in the shop which is what the ticket would have cost anyway?

That was my original thought.

Not sure how many fans will be spending £20 and then looking to buy 6 tickets.

Tbh it's not bad for me as I currently want to get around to buying a shirt, and I also want to go to the Wolves match as I will be around at the time.

Better than nothing anyway.

You dont have to buy 6 though if you go in our Fanstore on match Days it is normaly rammed so im sure loads will take advantage of this offer .On the other hand and season ticket holder spending 20 quid or more will get diddly squat

Clearly it's not aimed at STHs though as they're assuming STHs will be at the match anyway. It's to get more Matchday takers because attendances are poor for midweek games that are on Sky, understandably.

Let's hope this is a sign that they've realised that ticket prices especially match day ticket prices are too high.

Although I think this offer is pretty awful, I think I will take them up on it because I want a new shirt and I'll more than likely be able to go to the Wolves game. (It's on a Friday night right?)
