Labi Siffre had three chart successes in the early 70s, including the original version of 'It must be love' which Madness covered in the 80s.  The first clip is him performing this live on TOTP with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the other two are taken from shows of the period.  I'll post his most famous song in the 80s thread.

Absolutely, doesn't seem like the same artist. 

Although not my cup of tea, Vangelis did go on to have a slightly more credible career.
