Amazing.

Just amazing.

So happy for Rory, that was the moment the weight of the golfing world lifted from his shoulders.

An all time great now, as if he wasn't already.

He'll bag a fes more now. And if he doesn't, who cares? He's won them all.

What a week at Augusta.

Did anyone know the week started with one of my mates walking the course? @Izzy :D

Has any golfer ever hit so many great and awful shots in the same round? The pressure on him was... inconceivable. As many mistakes as he made, to keep hitting great shots in response every time - that took incredible guts.

Didn’t think I’d see much to top Tiger’s Masters win in 2019, but today edges it.

Can always say "I was there" the year Rory won the grand slam (even though it was only the practice day )

I was looking at the past winners earlier. Sergio in 2017 feels really recent, whilst Danny Willett seems a lifetime ago but it was only a year before.

Didn't think I'd ever see emotion at Augusta like Woods in 2019 but that was intense.

Don't think I've witnessed the palpable vivid tension of sport like that before, it was almost too much to handle.

Not even particularly fond of McIlroy or certainly haven't been over the years but he deserves that so much. Massive respect.

Golf is the bollocks.

Doesn't seem that long ago that my parents let me stay up to watch Faldo come storming through to win in '89. Remember it vividly.

It just goes to show how great Rory is when he's on. Four double bogeys, two terrible wedges on the back side, and he still wins. He really is the best player in the world and it's hard to fathom that he hasn't won a major in 11 years. I hope this sets him off on a tear to end all golf tears.

Did anyone think it was a bit strange the way Scheffler put the green jacket on McIlroy and then just immediately walked off without even shaking his hand?

He's a really bad loser.
