Scoring looks a little easier today

‘moving day’

Yep, some good scores early today. Apparently pin positions and wind directions helped but getting tougher again now. Should make for an interesting final day!

Given he was flirting with missing the cut not that long ago this is pretty impressive from Rory.

If Scottie doesn’t post a -5 or lower today then tomorrow looks like a great days witching

Possible that Rory is put with Reed tomorrow …………

Can't believe this was 10 years ago. One of the best RC singles matches in history.

Nice to see Padraig Harrington put together a great three days. He won't win but if conditions are tough he might sneak into the top 10.

He works as hard as anyone and can still hit it a long way for 54. No reason he can’t do well at Birkdale at the Open too.

A great role model and ambassador for the game and always good interview too. I’m a big Paddy fan.

He's only 54?? He looks like he was in his mid 40s when he won the Open

Tough to call a winner from this. Very interesting to see what they do with the pin positions.

I’d punt on Rahm, McIlroy or Schauffelle - think the guys with previous major wins will take the course on a bit more.

15,16 and 17 are brutal for anyone chasing the leader (s)

They’ve split them

They haven't split them. The pairings are done based on leaders out last and working down the scoreboard. The players who were first in the clubhouse from the previous round that are on level scores will go out later than the ones that came in after.

16 is hilarious.

if you need to find a birdie on 17 then you’re screwed.  you’ve got to risk a fair chunk of prize money (and more importantly points)  if you get wet.

at least 16 should be a short wedge in or possibly a two putt for birdie. going to be a lot of pars with that pin placement.

Would love to see Justin Rose win it more than anyone else. Got a lot to do but you never know.

He might win it, problem is there's about 20 others that could win this lol

The thought of a LIV player potentially winning this gives me a little taste of sick in my mouth

Looks like rahm’s approach is to make sure it stays on the fairway (3 wood if nec) and take the longer shot into the greens

After an unforced error on 3 he’s reverted back to smashing it into the rough 😄

Those crazy Philly sports fans shouting 'Wunderbar' and 'Das Good Ya' when Schmid is driving. Be still my tickling ribs
