Any one got any experience and recommendations for golf resorts in Spain other than the obvious La Manga?

There's 8 of us going next spring and can't decide where we want to go yet. Turkey looked good but getting direct flights there and back from/to East Midlands is an issue with Turkey.

Hoping for a decent final round today. Think somebody will go ridiculously low, wouldn’t be surprised to see a 60 or 61.

I think I’ll revise this significantly.. course looks a different beast today.

Looking forward to the Walker Cup this weekend.

Most of these american amateurs won't have played a course like Lahinch before in these conditions so fancy GB&I to give them a close game this time.

GB&I need a miracle this afternoon in the singles. Got smoked 4-0 in the morning foursomes which gives the US an overall 3 point lead.

Good crowds at Lahinch and the course is mint, shame we're probably going to lose - again...

A miracle it was. What a fantastic win.

Wow, what a comeback for GB&I all down to the last putt on the last green. Miracle of Medinha vibes. Amazing drama.

Solhiem Cup this weekend in Holland should be a good watch along with the Irish Open at Doonbeg.

Sounds like Trump will make an appearance just to fvck up all the logistics and piss everyone off.

Problem with the Solhiem is that it excludes about half of the best women's golfers.

Hopefully the end of the nonsense, a complete farce from start to finish.

These breakaway events never last. They lack the history and tradition plus, in this case, some very big names.

That's true. If they had a Presidents Cup equivalent in womens golf the International side would probably beat the US every time.

I agree but it sounds like there might well be watered down LIV 2.0 with significantly lower purses on a par with the DPWorld/Korn Ferry tour.

I think Brysons ego and denial means he still thinks theres some mileage in the team format and also the Aussies and Saffers reckon there's still significant LIV interest in those parts of the world.

My guess is the top euro players (Rahm, Hatton, Sergio etc) will find a way back onto the DPWorld Tour somehow, the over 50's (Poulter, Westy, Bland etc) will end up on the seniors tours, and most of the American's will go back to the Korn Ferry or new Challenger Tour.

LIV 2.0 might last another couple of years but when the new investors and sponsors realise it's not profitable or sustainable they'll all bail out and it will die a permanent death.

We'll throw Brooke Herderson in, to even it out! :D

A bit difficult when he owns the gaff I guess

Hull and Woad need to pull their fingers out in this afternoons fourballs after getting their arse kicked in the morning foursomes.

Europe need a decent lead going into the singles or the US will win this easy.

Shite conditions in Holland so really should favour the Euro girls.
