purpleronnie Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Fans fed up of away fans outsinging the 70,000 united fans tried to crate an atmosphere yesterday and this is what happend:- WOW!
Guest Bilo Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Shocking stuff that would never be allowed at the KP. He could use that as a missile.
Guest Bilo Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Seriously, why is he even at the football? He's depriving a real fan of their ticket in my opinion. This whole 'real fan' talk is tiresome as hell, but if ever if you wanted to see the absolute antithesis of a real fan that is it.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Not that different to the blokes in L1 on their phones looking at Champions League scores all game.
Jimothy Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Not that different to the blokes in L1 on their phones looking at Champions League scores all game. Bit different pulling your phone out during a quiet period and checking the latest scores, and watching a DVD or something on a laptop you've purposely taken to the game. Most people will have they're phones at the game anyway, and might just check other scores as an after thought. But to actually make the effort to take you laptop in with you is something else entirely. You don't even have to concentrate when looking at something like that on your phone, you can have a quick look, and then look again later, but if you're watching a DVD you're probably giving it all your attention. What's the point in even going to the game? You could watch that at home in more comfort and warmth.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Obviously that was slightly tongue in cheek but the Brighton game I went to there were people on their phones practically the entire 90 minutes. Anyway, taking a laptop along to a game is clearly ridiculous.

Captain... Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Why do people think he is watching a DVD? It looks to me like he is watching another football match, or it may even be the stream f the United match, maybe he has very poor eyesight and goes to enjoy the atmosphere but can't see much so brings the laptop to follow on the stream.

Looks nothing like another football match. There's two blokes standing next to each other on the screen, neither wearing football gear, just normal jeans and a t-shirt.

Looks like a substitution to me, black, possibly Fulham, player coming on wearing White shirt black shorts, black socks, standing next to the manager or 4th official, it looks like there are some stats or goal graphics on the left of the screen too.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 To be fair if i was sat behind him with that name on his shirt and he had a laptop on the go id be crapping myself and checking under my seat for suspicious packages!!

Looks to me like they're both wearing full length trousers. Plus no people behind that would normally be hanging around at a picture of the benches. Just looks like two people posing for a picture. Think about it it's most likely his desktop wallpaper.

Kitchandro Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 It's clearly a photo of him and someone else on photo viewer, and I'm pretty sure Shrapnel is joking. To be fair if i was sat behind him with that name on his shirt and he had a laptop on the go id be crapping myself and checking under my seat for suspicious packages!!

That makes more sense than watching a DVD, but it looks like windows media player to me, and I can't see any headphones so he is not listening to anything, which id also why I don't think he is watching a DVD, the photo quality isn't great but I would still say he is more likely to be following a sports broadcast with results down the left, could be a substitution at a game with a running track, hence the reddish swathe behind him and not much evidence of benches.

In no way is that a football match. The bloke on screen is in a t-shirt and jeans.

Which looks exactly the same as the thing windows uses to view pictures. He's checking emails or updating facebook or something and is checking a picture either having just downloaded it or before uploading it. Mystery solved.
Carl the Llama Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Clearly nobody in this thread has been to a library before. It's not that strange to see people on laptops.
Guest Bilo Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Clearly nobody in this thread has been to a library before. It's not that strange to see people on laptops. It is at a football match though....... Unless you're in the press box.

Guest Bilo Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Making the obvious response, so the real whooshists don't have to.
