I've watched a couple of Juventus games in recent weeks and this lad is sensational. Man United must be kicking themselves that they didn't handle this talent more delicately. I know they wanted to keep him, but they also mucked him about a bit and now they are missing out on a central midfielder that will be one of the finest in Europe for years to come. He's got everything, passing, finishing, his movement is superb and his defensive ability. It's an our United are weak currently and Ferguson must be miffed.

Anyone else rate the lad? Vicious shot on him.

Not seem him, bit I recall the quotes from Fergie when he left on a free. Clearly not happy, he usually doesn't comment on that sort of thing. United have screwed over plenty of other clubs, nice to see them on the recieving end for a change!!

I watch Serie A on ESPN (mainly for James Richardson who's the finest football anchorman in Britain, for me) and he does look class considering his age. Love the league too, finally on the up again.

Much as I dislike Ferguson he's the boss. If you think you deserve special treatment then you're not a team player. If a player doesn't fit in then it's best to leave, otherwise you end up with a Sven like situation like we had here.

He's a great talent, still don't think he's ready to take over from Pirlo yet but he should become a regular in the side at some point next season.
