Captain... Posted 12 February 2013 Posted 12 February 2013 This thread's been going 12 hours and nobody's posted a pancake face. I'm expecting some home made efforts from Moose, Flowy and Webbo later
AyewJoking Posted 12 February 2013 Posted 12 February 2013 theres gotta be a pancake batter joke in there somewhere
sphericalfox Posted 12 February 2013 Posted 12 February 2013 I imagine him sitting at the top of his stairs, hands in his lap and fidgeting with excitement as he shouts down, "is it ready yet mummy!? Is it ready yet mummy!?" To which she replies "just a while longer little spherical, you'll be all pancaked up before you know it" and he groans "oooooahhhh, but I want my pancake face right now mummy right now", and then he runs into his bedroom, opena his toy box and brings out his action figures to pass the time. "hmmm I think its hulk Hogan's turn to be on top this time... Go on hulk, give that Bret the hitman heart what he deserves" And then his father... "Son, you're 53 years old, what are you doing?" AW bless, Moosetits wrote a lickle story all for me. That's really sweet. He truly doesn't have any friends and is reaching out through the power of words. That's special. I'm touched, I really am. Between himself and fluwank, you really couldn't flippin find a bigger pair of tossers, and you certainly would expect them to post something really creative on the day that brings them so much repetitive and unfunny joy. Good on ya lads. Keep up the fine work. It's people like yourselves that make us all feel better about ourselves, even on the shittiest days, you can always think, at least I'm not them.

The Doctor Posted 12 February 2013 Posted 12 February 2013 In honour of Darwin Day, I made Darwin-cakes. They're unevolved pancakes (I prefer saying that to saying I ****ed up the flipping and created a pile of batter in the middle of my pan)
The Blur Posted 12 February 2013 Posted 12 February 2013 I like my pancakes simple- lemon and sugar it is! Not like all "fancy stuff" that America has added to their pancakes over the time.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 I made some absolutely belting ones last night. 1) 2 pancakes with smoked cheddar and cured ham, stacked with proper maple syrup 2) Melted a Caramac and half a Galaxy bar mixed with a bit of butter, spread over a pancake and rolled. That was f**king brilliant, I'm gonna do it again on Saturday

Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Haha! I probably have pancakes once, maybe twice a year - might as well go all out! Seriously though, try the Caramac one next time. You'll never buy a lemon again.
Zingari Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Have you ever thought of writing a Scottish cookbook Julian ?
MooseBreath Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Love the addition of butter to the melted chocolate. Fooking caramacs are way too healthy on their own. Mix it up with butter and wrap it in batter, brilliant
Zingari Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 All washed down with a nice hot mug of melted lard , lovely !!
Captain... Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Am I the only one that did a pancake face yesterday then?
ithuriel Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Tescos Express near the Grand hotelhad a pancake day stand at the front counter, they seem to do this for every special day going, the Halloween one was quite good. Got to hand it to the staff there.

Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Have you ever thought of writing a Scottish cookbook Julian ? Jesus, it's one night a year! I'd like to point out now that I'm 6ft and under 11 stone! Hahaha I might write a Leicester-related cookbook under the name "Nigella Pearson" though. Tits. Nigella Lawson's got some lovely tits. Also quite surprised I'm getting health tips off of football fans, think a guided tour around the Pukka Pie factory is in need... they'd probably count Caramacs as one of your 5 a day

Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Snickers is 2 of your 5 a day. Cocoa beans and peanuts. Loaded with nutrients.
Zingari Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Am I the only one that did a pancake face yesterday then? no , the whole family joined in
Captain... Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 no , the whole family joined in Cheat that is from the web. I even managed to convince my girlfriend to do it, but she would kill me if I posted the picture. I can't believe nobody else was tempted: It kinda looks a bit like a scream mask
Webbo Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Cheat that is from the web. I even managed to convince my girlfriend to do it, but she would kill me if I posted the picture. I can't believe nobody else was tempted: It kinda looks a bit like a scream mask I was thinking of that bloke from The Watchmen. I was tempted to have a go but bottled it.
Captain... Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 I was thinking of that bloke from The Watchmen. I was tempted to have a go but bottled it. You mean Rorschach? Hmm I think the scream painting is more accurate
