KIRBYFOX93 Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 I love the guy just he seems so jaded and seems to lack that edge he normally has. whats happend?
acooling08 Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 You could say the same for another half dozen of the players.
Jace Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 Maybe we should ask him? Dave if you're reading....
Danno Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 Knows he won't get dropped so doesn't have to put effort in.
CKB Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 Knows he won't get dropped so doesn't have to put effort in. I think complacency is running rife with a few players to be honest
cal21212121 Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 Knows he won't get dropped so doesn't have to put effort in. Don't think that's the case, he still ran, he still put the effort in, things just didn't work for him today, Nugent and Wood were out of sync with their link up play
Bayfox Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 I think complacency is running rife with a few players to be honest Drinkwater.
whitlock Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 Huge has been off for a while, scored a few goals which means his performance gets over looked. He was WOEFUL against Hudds last week, not much better today.
cuddly ken Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 This was said about Nuge earlier in the season, strikers have highs and lows. Nuge still works hard even when it's not happening for him. Quality player.
chavdonk Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 not every player, in fact none of our players, are going to be consistently brilliant every game they play in. if they were that consistent in showing their ability they wouldn't be playing for us and would playing for mid table premiership sides. its the managers job to bring the best out of the players and at the minute he isn't for one reason or another. he'll sort it out though he's proved it this season already so no need to panic. as for nugent, his best return this season of his career so criticism is a bit harsh
5waller5 Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 Because he isn't being pushed for his place. He's safe. It's not a conscious decision of his to not put that extra couple of percent in .... but a striker (real one, not waggy or vardy) on the bench would get that out of him.
Bert Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 Knows he won't get dropped so doesn't have to put effort in. Pretty ridiculous, hardest worker in the team and top scorer. There on merit. Wouldn't swap him for anyone in this league.
Dickov22 Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 Agree with Bert. Worked hard tonight, never stopped. He's just having a blip, it happens. He will get his form back. Quality player
Guest ttfn Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 Pretty ridiculous, hardest worker in the team and top scorer. There on merit. Wouldn't swap him for anyone in this league. Even Beckford?
