hifi Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 I was just wondering how ppl thought about our strikers. Ok my start. Waghorn; I'm not a fan at all to be honest. He's struggled since we bought him in the championship. Yes he's young but I don't think he's us ready for the premiership that's for sure. Nugent: yes solid and sure footed and he is reliable. And he's having a pretty good season. I would like to think with a good partner with him he could be even better. Wood ( not woods😄) well a great start for him really and as above looks good with nugent time will tell. And the newboy Harry Kane no comment as of yet but good luck. What I will say though is that we have more players on the pitch that can score regular which show on our goal difference. That is a good sign that yes we need to be stronger up front but it isn't the bee all and end all.
Babylon Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 Waghorn didn't play for us in league one, he joined when we came up. Hence his play off penno miss.
Fox92 Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 I have faith in Nugent and Wood. Liked the look of Kane on Saturday as well. Still not sure Vardy, he frustrates me when he comes on, as does Waghorn, who I don't really rate.

hifi Posted 25 February 2013 Author Posted 25 February 2013 And try reading a few posts before going over the same old ground pls Why ??? Does it really bother you that much. That a question has been maybe asked before. FFS
hifi Posted 25 February 2013 Author Posted 25 February 2013 Waghorn didn't play for us in league one, he joined when we came up. Hence his play off penno miss. Yes sorry my mistake.:-/
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 Yes as it waste time and server space and is really pointless to have so many threads on the same subject. It is also causing Babs a major problem keeping up with them all and even Tharc and Col have cracked
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 What you should do is start one on important stuff and have a poll as well, oh and getting facts right helps a lot

Loggy98 Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 The thing with waggy is I think he could be good but he needs lots of whole appearances and we simply don't have enough time for that.
big cairnzy Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 Wood n nugy very tidy. Waghorn, vardy, gallager total joke!!
Dan Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 Wood & Nugent are arguably the leagues best forward pairing IMO.
Jollie Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 Buzz off before the grammar police on here get on to you... :-D
dynamark Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 We have to acknowlegde the evidence of our own eyes.no one sits in row Z anymore and conrad logan has the best shot in the squad. to be seriousish Nug/Wood/hopefully Kane are the strikers at this level but no problem if someone else fancies a go
Mark_w Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 "strike force 4" mentions 3 strikers I was just wondering how ppl thought about our strikers. Ok my start.
