A Greek footballer has become an internet phenomenon after probably the most agonising miss ever seen in a football match. Egeas Plomariou was taking part in a league match for the island of Lesvos against Papnikolis when he fired a shot in from the right of the box. The effort beat the keeper easily, but hit the far post - then bounced up off the crossbar, onto the near post, and then rolled across the face of goal to hit the far post once more. goose2010 Posted 14 March 2013 Posted 14 March 2013 didn't realise they played beach football in Greece! i know there're skint but i think they need a bit of water on that pitch. Still not as bad as Blackpool's pitch though!
