Remember him getting one of our youngsters (Martin Reeves I think?) around the throat in a pre-season friendly when he failed to mark properly from a corner or something! Might have been the opening game at the Walkers against Athletic Bilbao.

Did consider Taggs and Elliott but Walsh had to be in with his highly impressive cards to game ratio and Hazel is one of that rare breed that have been sent off for and against us (Dennis Wise is another but was omitted for failing to fight anyone who was awake)
hackneyfox Posted 19 March 2013 Posted 19 March 2013 The Taggart death grip was used in at least 1 game the best though was he did the same to Wise. You could put him in the team as well. Alan Young was pretty useful at levelling the score if one of our youngsters was hurt.
