Fox92 Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Watch some old play off games. That'll get you back in the mood! And take some tablets. Best of luck.
Bausor Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Multi vitamins plus extra vitamin c and some lemsip Blocked nose ? Sudafex naisail spray Good nights sleep
cornishfox83 Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Man up ???? ......... think WWWD. (what would wes do)
FantasticMrFox Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 a TVR or breakfast of kings should do the trick. Depends on your constitution.....
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Drink - alcohol relieves all issues temporarily. Actually on a semi serious note, a bit of Whiskey wouldn't do any harm
nickyboy Posted 11 May 2013 Author Posted 11 May 2013 Thank you all for the wide range of suggestions...as a classic bloke I can't make my mind up, therefore I will take a little from option A, a little from option B etc etc How ever in relation to the whiskey option, is a no go, the only 1 I have is worth 2 hundred so saving it for the 30th bday
AKCJ Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 If ever I get the flu or a cold I eat soup and drink hot lemonade. Works a treat. Get an early nights sleep, too.

nickyboy Posted 11 May 2013 Author Posted 11 May 2013 I wish, still awaiting for that 1 This is a single malt 1 off cask
body102 Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 I always find , lemsip max strength mixed with whiskey and honey does the trick . Maybe use a different spirit if you don't want to open your whiskey
kingfox Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Seems it's going round a lot in the last couple of weeks. Had it for three days, but is still niggling away for about four days, not that bad though. If I was you, I would see if there's any youtube vids of Arnar Gunnlaugsson and Pegguy Arphexad.
whoareyaaa Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Lempsip max does the job. ^^ If that fails, Grind up some ginger in honey and warm it up and eat it
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 I wish, still awaiting for that 1 This is a single malt 1 off cask Nice, love my Whiskey. Cardhu is a great pound for pound Whiskey, but Blue Label at around £175-200 a bottle is pretty special at the expensive end of the market
ElsieLC Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Man up! If flu you wouldn't be on here but in bed! For man-flu (aka a cold)....Paracetomol. Hot water with lemon juice and honey (ginger optional). Plenty of fluids....

Waiting for them to kick in and currently also have a son with a dodgy cough who is waking every 30 mins I understand ya point tho
Bilbo Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Drink a pint of water every hour and flush the germs out!
The Doctor Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 Drink a pint of water every hour and flush the germs out! Water? You pansy - we're agreed that whisky is the course of action. I recommend Laphroaig 10 year, my absolute favourite. If only I had some in the house rather than Glenfiddich (12, 15 & a 18 miniture) and Cask Strength Laphroaig.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 2 cans of Tennants Super when you wake up in the morning then just carry on drinking throughout the day. Sure fire winner!!

Raw Dykes Posted 11 May 2013 Posted 11 May 2013 I've been feeling shit all day, so I just gathered the energy to go and get a biriyani, orange juice with bits, Lemsip max strength and some fancy ice cream. I'll have some rum when I get in. Soup's always good for a cold, especially Scotch broth/mullagatawny.
