I would personally like this team.

Schmeichel

RDL Morgan Vitor (free) Freind (Boro)

James Trotter (millwall)

Knockaert King Thomas (Free)

Wood

Bench: Logan, Moore, Whitbread, Drinkwater, Marshall/Dyer, Schlupp, Nugent,

Other players: Vardy (Loan out), Waggy, Gallagher, Wellens, Beckford, Danns, Futacs, St ledger, Koncheskey

Alternatives to vitor: Keane or other young PL CB,

Would like maybe 1 or 2 more loans to bolster the squad but I think there's lads in the academy (Taft, Hopper etc) that could easily fill the bench for a game or two.

Wonder if we could get Nick Powell on loan? If so i reckon this would be good, and realistic too.

If Leicester want to give Wes York a trial they'd better get in fast a few football league clubs have shown interest already, Birmingham, Burton, Forest, Coventry, Northampton & some rumours suggest even Stoke City.

maybe we should consider overloading the midfield with quality instead of adding another striker and try and play the Bayern Munich way.   We need more flair and experience in midfield.  We currently have a midfield full of basic footballers.  We need more speed too! too much one paced of a team. Which always leave me scared against opposition because everyone else seems to have a danger man and a bit of flair.  We know every team that comes to the KP will play 5 in midfield.  Time to match up! But have players above and beyond what we already have.  Jerome Thomas and Vicente could be the answer in this team!  Wood who is built like a target man but isn't would then get the service to feet he craves.

Izzaguire from Celtic would be quality can attack an defend also very skillful...would be worth about 1.2 mill would have him in a heartbeat followed by Vitor and that would be a quality defence

Because St Ledger has proven time and time again he's shite and Whitbread will never be fit enough to be a regular first choice defender.

I meant more the fact that he got looked at/linked with a few clubs and all of a sudden he's a million pound player.

Because St Ledger has proven time and time again he's shite and Whitbread will never be fit enough to be a regular first choice defender.

As did Vitor the last time he was at Leic, amazing how good a player becomes in fans eyes when they haven't seen a player play for a while.

Too many of the Rose tinted glasses brigade on here, I'm afraid.

izaquirre would mean we would have two quick attacking full backs Our left hand side is our weak point.  Izaquirre and Jerome Thomas would sort this issue out big time!

Agreed ST Ledger can be ok sometimes but mostly rhubarb and whitbread --> shitbread

Glad to bring Izzaguire up again apparently we were after him in January and search some vids of him and he is immense also he don't play a lot
