dog_4 Posted 26 May 2013 Posted 26 May 2013 Its the going rate at city before Nigel came back. Yukubu was on 50k, Abe 40k,Matt Mills 25k! 25 to 30k for danns and beckford was the way we rolled!
samgrizz1884 Posted 26 May 2013 Posted 26 May 2013 Apparantly interested in Stepen hunt... What place does he play can't remember? Is he any good? http://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/23010
WhenYourSmilingLCFC Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Danny Wilson has gone to Hearts. Said earlier in this thread that I Thought he would of been a good replacement for Keane
samgrizz1884 Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Apparently Wes Brown is getting his contract terminated by Sunderland? Good signing for us?
Walshy5 Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Danny Wilson has gone to Hearts. Said earlier in this thread that I Thought he would of been a good replacement for Keane Another good player we've missed out on!
fazzyfox Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Both Stearman and Mattock have written nice letters to the club and enclosed their Cv's, the words grass and greener spring to mind.
Leicesterpool Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Is Kevin Phillips retiring at the end of the season, if not why don't we offer him a player-coach role.
Danno Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Has Mike Phelan retired now, would be amazing as a coach for us
Danizen Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Has Mike Phelan retired now, would be amazing as a coach for usYeah Pearson would love a coach who earns 3 times as much as he does.
WhenYourSmilingLCFC Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Just thought of a young striker who if he comes available on loan, would be worthwhile, Joel Campbell from Arsenal. Edit: Just googled him to see where he is at the min, he was on loan at Betis, scored next to no goals in 25 games.
Grewks Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Troy deeney. Leave watford with 1 player!!! I reckon we could sign him, use the money we get from beckford, and the wage we save could also be spent on the transfer fee. Sadly, I see NP as kind of the Wenger of the championship, unwilling to sign the likes of deeney, austin etc, and focusing on up and coming players.

Doubt we'll be spending the kind of fees Deeney or Austin would command.

kingfox Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Ffs kingfox engaging in witty banter since 2006. Just stating you was wrong, sarcastic I don't care. Not on taking the mick out of Watford like that.
XLM Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Possibility of Pearson scouting abroad again this year? Irrespective of whether people think Knockaert has been a successful signing (I for one, do), his wages can't be as high as quite a few in our squad, and his re-sale value has increased dramatically if we look from a purely financial perspective. Surely players in the lower French, Italian or Spanish must see us a stepping stone to Premiership establishment, as I personally believe Knockaert does?
