Expected to feck it up the entire season. Love this tactic. I put the downloaded file into the tactics folder and it doesn't show up in the game, am I missing something Download the file, And easiest thing to do is either download the .tac file to the desktop, or find the downloads folder and drag it there, If you have a search bar, search football manager 2014, open the football manager folder (If you have no search bar then it will be in your documents etc) Open fm14 folder, open "tactics" then drag the .tac file from your Desktop to the tactics folder, Load the game up, go to tactics, drop down menu where you select formation and choose formation from archived tactics, it should be there

Somehow managed to win away at Wigan 4-1 (thought it was 3 but just been on and it was 4), followed by three straight draws (including Reading away who are above me) and just been QPR 1-0 - a massive win and a clean sheet - so I'm back up to 5th with three games left. First clean sheet since, you guessed it, QPR away in December. PS Haydos I can't seem to quote anymore but this was generally aimed back at your reply, cheers. Brilliant - just beat Bolton away, then beat Huddersfield away. I'm sitting in third place, three points off the top, two points off second and we've all got one game left. Second placed Burnley are away at eight placed Reading, while fourth placed Brighton play top of the league Forest. If results go my way, and I win, I can grab second place. Unbelievable really considering that bad run I went on. Thankfully I came good when it was needed. Just need to beat Doncaster and hope Burnley lose.
Narborough_fox Posted 4 December 2013 Posted 4 December 2013 Finished in 10th in my second season in the Prem, better than I could have hoped for at one point and, in general, the board are quite pleased. Looking like I won't get too big a transfer budget but with the frees that I'm signing that thankfully won't affect me too much.

After that Newcastle win I was third in the league, I now sit 11th, as many points from third as I am from 18th. Smuts - how the hell are you getting players like Emre Can & Fierro? I've been given about £10mil over three seasons at Leicester. My biggest signing is Timo Horn (who is excellent by the way, tip for anyone who needs a GK).

I really advise looking for players with less than 18 months left on their contract (filter it in player search). The ones with less than 12 months you can either try to sign or put low bids in for (maybe declare interest to unsettle them first). I've got 5 or 6 of my key players this way.

It doesn't work with the ones I download from FM Scout either. But it seems to work with the ones of FM Base. When I download of FM Base though I have to use WinRAR and "add to archive" and then it works. When I download of that site (which is now blocked) or FM Scout it seems to already download it and WinRAR is not needed. But it doesn't show up on the game
Fox92 Posted 4 December 2013 Posted 4 December 2013 Made the play offs. Beat Huddersfield over two legs (2-0 away, 2-1 at KP) but lost 0-3 to Burnley in the final... Was 0-0 for ages then Kasper let in a soft free kick which he should have saved. Then we just capitulated. Slightly gutted but will try and push on next season.

I make sure they are all different so I can swap if I'm on a poor run etc. Most of the time I'm using my two tactics anyway but I admit I may use a downloaded one a few times if I can find a win with my ones

Still often struggle against the better ones though but i'll work on that. Lost to Juve in the final of the Europa leage. Chelsea have come in with a £29m bid for Fierro but I tried to negotiate to £35m and they weren't having it. His value will continue to rise based on the season he's just had and I don't need to sell right now. Got a £25m budget for the coming season and just signed a new £10m per year stadium sponsorship deal.

Dan Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 No wins in 19. This is actually hilarious. I'm now to play Southampton at home - the last side I beat. I'm not having this. There's bad runs and then there's this. This is absolutely fixed. There's no way that a side can be 3rd after 16 games and then not win in 19 games without some sort of programming going against the users team. Absolute bullshit.

Fox92 Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 Couldn't afford to give any new deals to players so Konchesky, Danns, Whitbread, Marcel and Taylor-Fletcher all got released, as well as Craig Shakespeare and Steve Walsh. Squad's looking thin, but managed to bring in Miquel and Jacob Mellis on free transfers. Also offered a deal to Boyata (had him on loan) as he was released by Manchester City... Much work ahead.
Far Post Gerry Posted 6 December 2013 Posted 6 December 2013 Just picked up a lad called Connor Hunte on a free in the first transfer window. 4.5 potential rating and Man U & Liverpool were both interested, but for some reason he chose City. Anyone else signed him or know how good he gets?
