Beliall Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 bloody boards, not got a footballing clue . hey, we have a 10, 000 all seater stadium, in the last 5 years our attendance hasnt been higher than 4000, lets buy a new one, 13, 000 all seater with UNDERSOIL HEATING IN FVXKING AFRICA and scrimp on the team even more to repay a needless loan. im tired of rebuilding my squad, but I love jomo cosmos now , over acheivers to the extreme and it looks great on my cv.

My chairman wanted me to sign high profile players, without giving me the resources to do so. I'd say I've just started doing it, but it took Champions League football and £25m to spend on players to achieve it. The chairman is Eddy Mitchell - ex Dorchester and Bournemouth who tookover after the Thai's sold up.

It's ridiculous but to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if that's how some owners operate in real life. Same as with Fox92 there 9 points from the first 5? What a completely bizarre & in the big picture, utterly meaningless target.

It's kind of difficult getting High Profile players without any money but the fact I'm managing in the Czech Republic is hardly going to help. I thought signing Johnthan Dos Santos would be enough but clearly not

I thought signing Johnthan Dos Santos would be enough but clearly not I had a meeting with them and got them to remove it from one of the things I was judged against. Fed up with seeing it a literally 0 on the bar on job security. I get fvck all transfer budged so If i'm signing high profile players i'll only be able to bring in 1 a year which obviously isn't enough.

I landed contract talks at Nantes and I told them I wanted to bring players through the youth system, and that it's something I want to be judged on - can I expect them to be swayed more towards helping that happen, or have I just added something onto my contract that will benefit me in absolutely no way?

I recently played two 16 year olds in a cup game when they were nowhere near ready for the first team, they both scored And on a completely unrelated note, that game finished 2-2 and went into extra time. I brought on one of my stars late on because of his high penalty taking stat, and he got the winner in the 118th minute by bringing down a long ball in the centre circle and hitting a half volley to lob the keeper. Probably the best goal I've ever scored, and if I wasn't on the train at the time, I would've cheered.
Beliall Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 cool! my love for all things jomo has gone within a game, dragged them to another final (super 8) and got thrashed 5-2. useless bastards, wasnt even against the best team in it, beat orlando pirates and supersport utd to get there, get my ass handed to me by a team 2 places below me in the league. im letting my contract run out, ive been stuck in this hole too long and i need to start winning trophys

The ones I got this year could be very decent with a bit of work. Also, something I'd like to see abolished - limiting who can tutor who. Fair enough I don't expect anyone under 25 to be a tutor, but I've got a potentially very decent young centre mid in my academy, yet it won't let me get my midfielder (Salmeen) who's determination is 20 working on him? So annoying as that could set him well on the route to being a regular in my team.

It's so annoying something like this didn't happen when I had my proper Nantes side of 13 with the likes of Mbenyane, Vargas, Buelto and others. That pissed all over the Lorient side that won the league. Be interested to see how Lorient actually do from here. As well as St Etienne, both now have CL money coming in
