cityfanlee23 Posted 14 January 2014 Posted 14 January 2014 Right, ballache using screen capture Does this work? Hell of a strike!
Haydos Posted 14 January 2014 Posted 14 January 2014 Hell of a strike! Couldn't believe it, been managing Leicester til 2018 odd and nobody's hit one like that before. Basically the last kick of the game to draw level.
Dan Posted 14 January 2014 Posted 14 January 2014 Finished my season with three straight wins and finished 10th. To be honest I'm amazed I came that high, it felt like I hardly ever won. Owner to his credit has given me £7mil for the upcoming season. International management is still boring as hell. Resigning from Ukraine after the World Cup.
Dan Posted 14 January 2014 Posted 14 January 2014 They've just won it on mine with a late surge. I'm actually tempted to start as Monaco and see if I can dislodge them. It's never ever happening with Nantes.
Dan Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 This is going to be interesting. Made some far better signings in my opinion. With this being my planned team/formation;
Beliall Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 im tired of being skint all the time, have started ANOTHER game this time im going to pay close attention to finances and signings, i sign too many players who flop. still at whitbank, i made a save at the job applictions point and theyre still the only team that offers me an appointment

It's never ever happening with Nantes. You'll have no issues mate... absolutely none.. Monaco are rediculously good, I started a save and won 18/19 games and gave up, january they gave me a further £30m to strengthen Just felt like there was no challenge involved One of the most interesting saves I done was Lyon... I highly reccommend that A team that used to be title challengers every season, who now have a cosy spot in 3rd/4th Like the Arsenal/Liverpool of france Quite a few hasbeens. If you can get rid of them, you'll have a fortune in wages to spend... you have quality players with potential like: Samuel umtiti - Wonderkid, Got offers of £40m after 1 season when he finished as top average rating in the league... Lacazette (Goal machine, cannot stress how good he was for me enough) Yacine Benzia, (Wonderkid) Clement Grenier (Absolute star for me, wonderkid) Maxime Gonalons (24 but still quality with many years left) If I remember rightly the wage budget was £600k and the transfer budget is £0 which makes it a fun challenge! Get rid of the high earners who are not worth their wages like Steed Malbranque! or Sidney govou who earns a fortune for sitting in the reserves . Offer lower contracts to the likes of gourcouff who I think was on £80k? sorry doing this all from my head! But I would reccommend them as a team to play to give yourself a challenge, Take them from a Top 4 side, to the treble! they have the squad to comfortably take 3rd, Take them to the next level Without the 2m wage budgets
Beliall Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 thats not a challenge! try a club that cant afford reserve mangers, u19 managers, more than 2 coaches or one scout, has a transfer budget of 50k and a wage bill of 16k in the african leagues aim for the pentagon!
cityfanlee23 Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 Tough start with my Lyon career, pulled off a really good win against Lille 5-1 but apart from that it's been medicore. Find myself 8th after 11 games. didnt see this, Just gave the idea of lyon to Dan to try! Maybe worth trying out marseille then dan Or even Lille

Pretty happy with my start with Hasselt in Belgium. The team is very lacking in depth so I've signed a couple of players on frees and a couple on loan. Demoted a few to the reserves as the quality of players outside the first team is also sparce. I think I moved up to about 11th but the table is ridiculously tight, there's about 7 points separating 6th and 16th late in the season so each game is massive. Pick of the results have been a 1-3 away win at a relegation rivals and also a 3-0 home victory over a team that was 7th at the time. Performances seem to be hit and miss, look dangerous and clinical one game and lacking in ideas and poor at the back in another. Finances I've put to the back of my mind, just focusing on staying up at the moment and if things take a ridiculous turn then the play-offs(?) may beckon. I'll probably have a clear out and reassess at the end of the season, I'm sure there's a few shit players that are tieing up my pretty stingy wage budget. Not gonna worry too much about good coaches/staff either as scouting costs too much money and I think i'll have a high turnover at playing staff the first few seasons like I seem to in most games where the team isn't an established one.
Beliall Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 sounds like a solid start, i also added belgium to mine but really didnt want to sim for ages so took the first job offer, if this fails ill sim. good luck. my season hasnt started yet, was all going well until i switched captain, as my current was under a transfer bid anywat, now the team is pissed off with me.

Just take them on a day out to Scarborough and get them fish and chips mate
The Horse's Mouth Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 umtiti is superb, I fear I'm going to have to let him go to buy more players. Grenier isn't that good.
Uncle Albert Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 Who's a good starting team in the Premier League? Not one of the big guns but a smaller club with a good budget? Southampton?
cityfanlee23 Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 umtiti is superb, I fear I'm going to have to let him go to buy more players. Grenier isn't that good. DONT!! Hang on to him if you can! Grenier was awesome for me, plug away at him he may come good, have you managed to get rid of Govou yet?

Sounthampton is a good shout, So many premier league potential stars in the team... I won the league and FA cup in first season with west brom using a 3-4-3, Anelka scored 28

I'm in 2020 so alot has changed, Umiti is basically got up to his potential he's valued at like 28mill. Might have to be forced to sell him because I literally have no money and don't want to be sacked by the end of the season.

Yeahhh, when I saw they were in the Belgium leagues I sucked up in the interview, a couple of decent teams and a lot of good players in that country but not a very prestegious leauge. I'm sure I won't hang around at this club forever though, i'll need a much bigger stadium but I wouldn't mind trying to find my way to Andertlecht or Standard.

Just hope the board to trim too much off the top

Just hope the board to trim too much off the top It's frustrating isnt it, When leicester sold out to new owners and I got them promoted, After 3 seasons I recieved 75m for players in a transfer window, the owners gave me £12m to spend!
Haydos Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 I always try and up my % retained for transfer with them whenever I'm about to make a big sale.
