Before being beaten 0-2 at home to Metz. We are utter shit. I have absolutely no idea how you play this game.

Hero to Zero?

Treat yourself to a little break... Try one of the football manager challenges, they can be refreshing.. or you will just go downhill and lose your temper with it! lol  Been there done that!

I'll lose my temper. I'm really poor at this game for some reason. Just can't seem to get used to it.

I have them next too. If I play anything like the other four games it's going to be a record.

Jesus lol

I've resigned. Can't be ****ed. Absolutely nothing I try works there.

No idea who to start as next time.

2 games left of the season, both away. Since I took charge P11 W6 D2 L3 Pts 20.

Looking at the table if I can manage that form next season i'll be heading for promotion. Sitting in 8th now, safe from relegation.

I am absolutely ****ing sick of this now. First game, Guingamp at home - totally outplayed for the entire game, lost 1-2, had a red card, had to make 5 changes pre-match because of injuries/international call ups.

One game in and I feel like resigning. Absolute shit.

I started a career in Slovakia and did reasonably well in Europe meaning a domestic cup semi got re-arranged for a date when 95% of my first team squad were away on international duties, got hammered - beyond pissed.

Finished 5th, 1st season with Valencia and somehow lost in the final of the Spanish cup and the Europa league semi-finals.

Made some ok signings and currently 3rd, beating barca 3-0, after 16 games. So confused as to how as the wage budget is awful as there is such a mis match of players nationalities and they are on ridiculous money!

Managed to get some good signings coming in jan.

Dzeko - 2mill!!!!!!!! Signed him on loan but couldn't play him due to the foreign players limit. His contract is up in July.

Krychowiak - 1.9 mill!

Joe ledley - 3mill

Alberto lueque - 800k (5* potential regen)

Sold rami to Monaco in the summer for 17 million, wanted more but nobody would pay and he wanted to leave.

Canales and Alcacer running the show!

And despite having crazy debt, I make around a 35mill profit per season, with an ffp allowance of -4.5 mill!

I suppose you are sick to the back teeth of france, So here are some challenges for you!

Bournemouth

Huddersfield

Sheffield Wednesday

St Pauli - Strong affiliation with celtic, Celtic saved them years ago from admin, St pauli created the "We love you" theme

FC Cologne

Palermo - My fifa 2008-2012 team, Ripped 4* teams apart with miccoli and hernandez!

Sassuolo - Looks very interesting with some decent prospects!

Real Zaragoza

Deportivo La Caruna

Sporting Braga

Just some Ideas! :D

I took the Berwick job, Played 3, won 3, 7 games into the season, 8 points clear. Also i feel its a more realistic team to start at.

Palermo's an unreal shout. I may go for that.

I played a palermo save at the start (I've played with everyone haha), Had them top of the league, they have a really really stripped squad compared to their seria a squad (Which is understandable), They were my 2008-2012 fifa team so always had a soft spot for them (Taking the Mrs there this year)

Left them for Inter milan stupidly, wished I'd carried on, Abel hernandez is devastating if trained right!

They have a few players out on loan in the reserves who were in their Serie A team so you already have some nice players to strengthen the squad if you go up!

Davide Monteleone is a quality CB prospect too :) his star rating is poor, but I had injuries and was desperate so stuck him in and he was ever present since then for me, only 17 but turns into a quality player

Goldaniga ends up worth £7m+ so get him trained right

Paulo Dybala - What a monster!

Edit: The challenges are this:

1) Promotion

2) Balance the books (They are not fantastic)

3) Stay up

4) World domination

5) And the most important of all... Do steps 1,2,3 and 4 in a stylish fashion as the owner is Fire-Friendly ;)

Quite an interesting read if you are on the SI games forum (Official fm14 forum)

http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php/368759-FM14-U.S.-Citt%C3%A0-di-Palermo-%E2%80%93-Don-t-Get-Eaten - Thread on Palermo...

This bit did catch my eye haha!

"Your first goal? Last longer than ex-Milan midfield terrier Gennaro Gattuso did in your place. Hired by Zamparini this summer, he was dismissed after just a handful of disappointing Serie B games, and so became Palermo's 28th managerial casualty in 11 years. Do your best not to repeat the trick."

anybody know how to play "more exciting football" apparantly being 8 points clear at the top isnt enough for these fans

28 managers in 11 years. What the actual fvck lol I'll be getting their job in real life at this rate.

I'm starting as them tonight I've decided. No doubt I do shit as I'm useless at the game.

My tactic right now is faultless (Give it a month or so haha) It may work for palermo?? Will tweet you it tonight, I know its fun to make your own though! but if you get desperate!

Dan, Time for you to bring the glory back to Palermo and show that cvnt of a chairman who is boss!!

"2011–Today: Mangiallenatori

Yet Palermo's improbable rise has given way to an inexcusable fall. The reason is simple: the chairman is a maniac. In his quarter-century or so in charge of both Venezia and Palermo, Maurizio Zamparini has fired at least 50 coaches; it speaks to his neurotic impatience that the exact number is hard to pin down. In just one calendar year, 2011, Palermo enjoyed the dubious honour of being managed by five different men. Delio Rossi was replaced that February by Serse Cosmi, who lasted until April only to see Rossi reinstated; by June, the reins were being handed to Stefano Pioli, but he was fired before the league season even began, while his replacement – under-19 coach Devis Mangia – was sacked in December in favour of Bortolo Mutti. Mutti would go the very next summer, while Palermo plummeted to a worrisome 16th place.

In mad Zamparini's performing circus, Francesco Guidolin has been the man tasked with restoring order on no less than four separate occasions, yet he is just one of five coaches who have suffered more than one spell on the bench. Fans of Palermo have had to endure capricious chopping and changing of the playing staff, too. Here are just a few of the names that have left Palermo in the last decade, not always for good reasons: Pepe, Toni, Barone, Grosso, Barzagli, Zaccardo, Amauri, Kjær, Nocerino, Pastore, Sirigu, Migliaccio, Balzaretti, Silvestre, Cassani, IliÄić, Cavani, and Miccoli."

FIFTY lol

Absolute joke. I'll do well to get to Christmas if they've reproduced his personality on the game.

Nahhh you'll be fine, You'll last a season, then if you lose 3 games in the serie A you're toast son ;) although as I said, It landed me the inter job getting them promoted!!

Obviously if you last more than 6 months at Palermo you are considered 'World Class' haha

Team shaping up nice for my first PL campaign... Sold Futacs for £3million (rising to £3.5million)! Has been a good player for me, double figures in both Championship campaigns, but can't turn that amount down.

Lost Sterling (13 goals last season), who went back to Liverpool so brought in Scott Sinclair for free. Like for like replacement. Managed to get in Yaya Sanogo for £1.7million (yeah I know, bit of a gamble) while Oliver Norwood signed for £1.5million... His ability at set pieces could be key (17 corners, 20 free kicks, 18 passing and 17 creativity).
