Ausden Clark PRICE LIST

Recommended Posts

Ausden Clarke - told me i would get an email confimation. Never got one after calling them 5 times. Today they have told me that i don't need an email and they have me down so just turn up and go! If they had told me that in the first place it would have been job done.

Pathetic customer service from Ausden Clark today. Called to see what was what and the woman didn't have a clue about any footy details so she took my number to get back to me and guess what... Yh no call back.. LOST BUSINESS!!

I've emailed them twice and had no response.

I will more than likely book with them but before booking i'd like to know what time they are leaving/what time they expect to get to Blackburn, I've emailed them twice asking the question and had no response, I'll give them a ring tomorrow.

Hmmmm, I'd like some confirmation personally, it'd be my luck to turn up on the day and for them to tell me i'm not booked down as travelling with them and be fucked.

Matt the coach leaves at 9.15 :)

Cheers, so i'd imagine ETA is around 11.30 - 12.30 (Gave a pretty big tolerance there, although i'd imagine taking into consideration it's a coach it'll be closer to 12.30)

Do they stop at services for hours like the crap city coaches? I only want straight through and get there early for pre match bevvies

Agree there, i also get annoyed with the services stops I understand people may want to use the toilet, but there is one normally on board the coach plus does it really take longer 15 minutes to use the toilet. For me the service station stop should be no longer than 15 minutes.

Generally they get to the match quite early and mostly they don't stop and get straight to the ground, last time I remember stopping was Milwall on New Years day

The girl at Ausden Clarke just said the coaches are stopping at services :/ if they stop like the city coaches do for 45/60mins this will be my first and last time with them. Hopefully a quick 10min stop and get us where we wanna be nice and early...the pub!!

If it's the same as Blackpool, then we stopped for 15 minutes to allow everyone to stretch their legs and go to the toilet before they got going again. Be nowhere near a 45 minute stop.

I think you'll be somewhat disappointed then.

It's not down to the coach company or driver for how early they can get there, the local plod have a big say in matters and the coaches usually can't arrive at the ground before a certain time.

If they do, they get held up over a motorway bridge or layby somewhere until they're ready to take them in.

Leicester plod used to do the same on the bridge next to the Hilton and Meridian McDonald's, not sure if they still hold them there.

In previous seasons our club have had to get special permission to arrive earlier so the fans can wander around, Preston in 2010 springs to mind and a Blackpool away day.

I've been to all the aways since December on Ausden Clark and we have had very few service stops, Millwall and a very quick stop for Barnsley are the only ones I can remember.

This season also had very few police escorts to the ground compared to previous seasons.

I've never been to Blackburn on the coach, have we had a police escort to the ground in previous seasons? I'd be amazed if we're not there by 12:45

I went to Ewood park last season on Fox travel and have no idea if we had an escort in, haven't been on the Ausden Clarks yet this season but I'm on them for this game.

Personally I'm not too fussed about a service station stop, all coaches have toilets if you need it or use a bottle! ;)

Ausden Clark get by the police escort etc. as they are ran by the DSA, this means they get allowed to arrive early to ensure there are no problems with unloading the bus and the sort

.

Nice idea, but totally bullshit
