Anyone remember Ben Mee's debut?

One mistake and then flawless afterwards if I remember correctly? He at least looked capable. I think it's obvious why Taft is loaned out he and his ego won't make it here with Pearson around and rightly so.

He's gone out to get experience, I would sooner him go out and make mistakes there so he can learn from them and not do them if he plays for us. As for attitude what attitude does he have? Because he styles his hair and cares a lot about what he wears? lol! He's doing something right with his gf

Taft is an overrated player on here for strange reason and i am not to sure why eveyone wants him in the first team either.If he cant cut it at league 2 then what chance has he got here?ill eat my words if turns out to be good but tbh i dont think he will and tbh the sooner pearson knows he is a shit player the better for city.

So you're arse licking a player who obviously is not very good otherwise he would have had an opportunity now. Not his second ever game as he's been on loan twice before in the lower leagues.

If he was sold I would agree that he isn't good enough, the fact he's on loan is to help him improve. He may come back and still not impress and then sold and then I will agree with you. But at the minute I don't see why we should shoot him down why he is one of our own?

because I've watched him and he looks absolutely wank. I don't care if he is one of our own.

He won't be one of our own at the end of his contract, he'll be playing senior league football.

hes 20 he should of broke through to the first team by now  if he was any good he woluld be in the and around the first team.Between him and Moore is miles ahead of him right now and Moore will only get better.Dont see Taft as being as anyway as near as good as Moore tbh.

but until he's actually sold/released we should support him and not shoot him down after one mistake. It's his first time having football league experience so he's bound to make one or two. But I so agree Moore will be a lot better player

Not so long ago there were a number of people saying he should be in the first team and that he was the best player in the 21's by a mile

Seems to have gone rather quiet......

I've read that about umpteen of our kids on here.

Positive blind optimism aside I'm not sure why this happens, I've seen a lot about Hopper on here over the past 12 months also, he's not ready either.

He's hardly had long to settle in there. Although, my mates told me he has been pretty poor so far. That second goal wasn't his fault - it was the guy he told to mark to the person who eventually scored. Don't know what he was doing for the first though.

Had a mate who played in the academy with him for a few games who said that he is very overrated though.

 

Definitely deserves more game time before you can judge him properly. York wouldn't have put him straight in the first team if he wasn't competent - they have some decent centre backs.

Most of our youth team are hyped up, I think people want to see one of our own break through.

 

You can see why Andy King made it, a tidy footballer, fantastic finisher and seems a lad with the right attitude. What do you hear about his way with fans and his social life? Very little.

 

It's probably not the young players' fault, people could attach themselves to them and praise them before they've earnt it. I hope this loan spell is good, he becomes an important player and we save money in the long run. But it's a serious risk throwing in youngsters when you have to get promotion (though I do believe Pearson takes too many youngsters on loan from other clubs).
