Maybes Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 I personally think that FIFA is always best played on Playstation, the pad just seems to be perfect for it. I have been playing the Xbox One version on EA Early Access but the controller seems to bulky for FIFA I have completely the opposite opinion.

If anybody is interested please post! You're going to struggle straight swaping that, especially now the one is priced less than the ps4. Perhaps if you threw in 1080p, it might make the difference. Equates to £10.80. Haha. Legend_in_blue? Not a chance. I'll pass it on - Beliall?
Legend_in_blue Posted 25 September 2014 Posted 25 September 2014 http://youtu.be/CYJ7lKMoMM0 Something different. Something good? If the AI really does adapt as they're letting on, could be a classic. Then again, it's a cross gen release and all of these have pretty much flopped so far.
Legend_in_blue Posted 25 September 2014 Posted 25 September 2014 For all you AC enthusiasts like me, google projectwidow.net Good stuff.
FrankieADZ Posted 25 September 2014 Posted 25 September 2014 well the new Aliens game couldnt be any worse than that smelly wet fart that was aliens colonial marines
DennisNedry Posted 25 September 2014 Author Posted 25 September 2014 Why is there suddenly so many horror games about to be released?

FrankieADZ Posted 26 September 2014 Posted 26 September 2014 Why is there suddenly so many horror games about to be released? seem to be all in that same sort of mold ....run away and hide....ala Outlast. see Shadow of Mordor is getting good reviews....looking forward to that next week
Vardinhio Posted 26 September 2014 Posted 26 September 2014 Considering upgrading to next gen around xmas time as there will surely be some bundles out. What's best or is it much of a muchness? Can anyone briefly explain the advantages of either? Xbox One has the bonus that some of my good mates have it so clearly it would be fun to play games alongside them. I have had xbox live since the initial beta test that came with moto gp and whacked circa 2002 but I am open to change. My favourite genre of one player game is GTA, La Noire etc. Dissapointed Heavy Rain couldn't come out on xbox.

Basically xbox ****ed up at the start of it's launch didn't have any 1080p games first one was Destiny and more due out soon it's the better console in terms of the full package. Same with the 360 and PS3
Brenfox Posted 26 September 2014 Posted 26 September 2014 My opinion may not be valid as I own neither console but I do intend to get both when the price is right. I'm no fanboy & have owned just about every console in the last 15 years. At the moment the ps4 is where I'm putting my money first purely based on the games available although neither are flooded with great titles. Aside from what friends own what console it all depends on the exclusives & which games you prefer.
Ashley Posted 26 September 2014 Posted 26 September 2014 To be honest both consoles will be worthless come the end of next year when 4K TVs are available on the 'cheap'.
Vardinhio Posted 26 September 2014 Posted 26 September 2014 To be honest both consoles will be worthless come the end of next year when 4K TVs are available on the 'cheap'. Surely if that's the case Microsoft and Sony wouldn't have bothered making the next gen console? They have known 4k tvs were the future. Do the consoles only stetch as far as 1080p?

Ashley Posted 26 September 2014 Posted 26 September 2014 so not going to be worthless then Well yeah to be honest you would of thought the consoles could have had better software in the long run. Reading more into it Ps4 can only play films and show pictures it can't play games. Xbox one can...
Guest kristianity77 Posted 26 September 2014 Posted 26 September 2014 Whether or not the Xb1 can display games in 4K doesn't matter one jot. It doesn't (nor the PS4) have the grunt to play anything that would look even remotely decent in that resolution. You need an absolute beast of a PC to play in 4K right now (with good performance). 4K tellys wont have any bearing on the consoles nor will it make them look out of date.
DennisNedry Posted 26 September 2014 Author Posted 26 September 2014 Basically xbox ****ed up at the start of it's launch didn't have any 1080p games first one was Destiny and more due out soon it's the better console in terms of the full package. Same with the 360 and PS3 Xbox ****ed up at the start by charging a lot more than PS, forcing customers to have Kinect, and had to backtrack on loads of features (like no game sharing) when they released PS was gonna blow them out of the water (and it did outsell the Xbox initially and is still considerably ahead). Anyway, back to suggesting which console to get: - Get the successor to the last gen console you had to keep your account - Get the console your mates have - Get the console with the best exclusive games for your tastes.
Legend_in_blue Posted 26 September 2014 Posted 26 September 2014 Neither machine can do 4k in terms of gaming. Read an article last month on this. X1 can barely do 1080p. . 4k tvs are pointless anyway at the minute. Everyone needs a top end plasma in the house. While the tech is still there - fantastic for everyday tv use and gaming. Shame they've been phased out - the Panasonic 60"ZT65B is an awesome panel.
Vardinhio Posted 26 September 2014 Posted 26 September 2014 It was only Heavy Rain I was annoyed about as it wasn't on the xbox. I see Tesco have the XboxOne and the PS4 both plus FIFA 15 for £329 at the moment. If the deal is on next pay day I may treat myself.
DB11 Posted 26 September 2014 Posted 26 September 2014 Still waiting for the PS4 to be delivered. Hopefully it's worth it!
