TBH, I don't use mine that much. Its nice to be able to turn the console on/off or throw in some other command by voice when you can't be arsed to move off the settee, but I think the Kinect will come into its own in a few years time when developers have really got to grips with programming with it.( I'm playing BF4 Forza5 Trials Fusion & Fifa 14). If you Skype a lot then by all means get it but it'll be an expensive camera. One thing I would suggest..... X Box Smart Glass app on your phone ;)

I honestly don't think the Kinect, in it's current form, has much life left in it. The technology isn't good enough for it to do what it's meant to do. It will need tons more money, research and development pumping into it to make it function to a level that decent developers will feel it's worth creating games for. I expect it's already had an obscene amount ploughed into it, hence Microsoft's persistence to force it onto its customers. I just can't see it catching on, unless it becomes seamlessly integrated into a console, has at least a few good games made for it, and functions flawlessly. Realistically, I just can't see any one one these things happening, let alone all three, in the foreseeable future, at least.

what do you expect, the library isn't big enough to be able to offer big named games yet, in a couple of years that should change

I agree. I think this current generation has arrived way too soon. Maybe it's just these early titles, but they don't seem like anything special. They don't look like they're beyond the capabilities of the last generation consoles, really.

Doctors are using Kinect?! That's it I'm joining BUPA

lol, I saw it highlighted on a TV program, where surgeons were using it during surgery to view x rays and a like. [emoji1]

On the whole cameras and gaming jazz though, until TVs have camera's within them...it just won't work with us lot imo.

all the scare/horror games seem to be going down the same route imo(outlast/new aliens etc)

Can't be arsed to make the same mistake I did with the 360, buying loads of games and then not bothering with them after a playthrough.

Going to carefully pick and choose my games on the One and sell the ones I'm done with.

Minecraft, GTA 5 and Fifa 15 will do me for this year. May also get Forza Horizon 2 as well once the price drops in towards Christmas, if not I'll try and borrow it off someone.

Its what i love about my Vita. For me at the moment i have a baby boy whos cot is at the end of my bed. Now i dont know about you but when i play on PS4 i have to sit right in front of the tv. I cant be too far away. So with the cot there im unable to sit as close as i like to. The Vita is an absolute winner for me. Remote Play is a great feature

I love the PS4. Only thing is I wish there were more software updates.

Also all my friends moved to PC so that sucks

i agree with you on the firmware updates, frankly MS are making Sony look like chumps in that respect.
