They aren't there to tell you what to do, they are there to tell what a game is and how good it is, they don't follow you, you can choose to read them, and ignore them, I have done so in the past. Secondly Metacritic is made up of about 25-30 reviewers from around the world, it is not one person, if 25-30 professionals are all saying the same thing (it's average) then I'm going to listen to them, not you who has only played the Beta and was waxing lyrical about how great the reboot of Theif was for the first 10 hours of it's gameplay, no offence.
FrankieADZ Posted 9 October 2014 Posted 9 October 2014 Your in a minority with that opinion, certainly nowhere near as good as Forza Horizon 2 which has got rave reviews (one exclusive) possibly even Forza 5, according to reports. Titanfall is critically regarded the best online shooter on the market still. Like I say if Sunset Overdrive is any good that's four top games. Can't think of one exclusive on the PS4 worth buying (hence why I don't have any) Just saying have you played DriveClub? as Beliall said, cant always go by reviews and any who.....since when has 7/10 made a game bad? of course Forza will be better its a long run franchise.....DriveClub is a brand new IP. as for Titanfall....i wouldnt call it the best online shooter. people went back to playing COD and BF4.

Not to mention he's got previous for over hyping average games making them out to be better than they are only to go back and admit they not actually that good later on. I'll admit you can't go off one, when 30 professional writers are all saying THE SAME THING I think there might be a bit of basis to it do you not think. It's what run of the mill, average games normally, score, I have enough of them, and being an new IP should be an advantage not a hindrance you've got a fresh canvas and nothing to improve on and no old ideas holding you back. It's one of the most played games on Xbox Live, and even if not we're talking quality not highest sales/players, sales and amount of players compared to quality are two completely different things. Dark Souls probably got outsold by COD there year it was released, easy to say which is the vastly superior game.

I cant abide reviewers, or people who think they have the only opinion that matters. A beta might be all ive played but I have played enough betas to know when a game is going to be good or not. I knew mag was going to be shit before it came out. Bought it anyway in case i was wrong. I wasnt. For example. Dont buy drive club, or buy it I dont care. I know what im getting before I do, you dont

If Sunset Overdrive is actually any good the One will actually have an embarrassment of riches in terms of exclusive content compared to the PS4. It's a good job I've got a bucket load of multi plats to play. Sorry, are you referring to some driving game and Titanfall? Embarrassment of riches is a tad strong.

Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 It's the only sim racer coming out anytime soon, Horizon is fun enough, but I just want a realistic racer to do time trials with my mates on, and from what I've seen of Project Cars this certainly ticks that box.

Thief was awful and Watchdogs was a typically bland GTA sandbox clone. It's not like Mabs is going out of his way to trash good titles for contrary sakes. You just get over excited and hype everything (especially PS exclusives) before you've even played, let alone completed, them.

In one tweet, he assured fans that Evolution "did performance testing prior to launch & we had confident in the servers then." Asked to clarify what, exactly, is wrong with the game, he said: "We've got no limits to the amount of servers of the quality of hardware; it's purely down to the server code having some bugs." Rustchynsky also says that Evolution has not ruled out offering some kind of compensation for early adopters, though it remains to be seen if this would be in the form of free DLC or something else. He also had no update to provide regarding when the free PlayStation Plus version of Driveclub would be released, but said fans can expect a "new update" on the game sometime later today. Diabolical.
