Ben Marshall was nothing special. The occasional rocket doesn't make a brilliant player. He did it a few times but it was largely outweighed by months of mediocrity. Another Gallagher.

Wouldn't surprise me with Nigel tbh..... Look at Marshall, very much like nugent and wood, electric from the start then played shit for months,

Ben Marshall's departure was very sudden and not speculated when it happened...

Wood and nuge have done the same tbh, wood has been quite Injury prone in his short career so far and nugent is completely gone

 

What do you mean when you say Nugent's completely gone?

 

Unfair on Wood as well. Not had a chance recently, in part due to international duty and injuries, and also because of the fact we're doing very well in the league... Never change a winning team and all that.

Well it's just my opinion on nugent, he's shit and until he proves me wrong is north worth having in the team, his record is abysmal from open play and offers little else, don't want to get into that discussion again as it takes over,

And it would be unfair on wood I think he has potential to be premiership class based on his early appearances for us, just saying it wouldn't surprise me with the way Pearson has treated players in the past and dealt with them

Fair enough mate, can see your point on Nuge but still think he's a good player for us.

 

Can't see Pearson letting Wood go, reckon he'll become an integral part of the side as the season progresses.

I'm not sure I'd normally be happy with GTF starting, but I think I agree with you. With Wood injured and Nugent seemingly off the boil, we might be forced to experiment.

 

Who knows, Vardy's pace with GTF(O)'s holding play might work

Bad news. Definitely need to add a winger and a striker in Jan even if they're loan signings. I'd have started Wood on saturday if he was fit

I stated quite clearly i did not want to get into a discussion about him, another poster did....

On the other hand FBS wood being out causes an issue to the strike force, which I think needs improving :)

So you didn't post this or go on to say Nugents finished, still I am sure he will turn up Saturday do his best then get slated if he fails or we lose, despite what is going on with other members of the squad.

I went on because someone quoted me saying "as if we'd sell both wood and nugent" or something to that effect, on my phone cba to go back and read it, and I said nugent is gone in my opinion , which is why I wouldn't be surprised if we sold, again it's just opinions but if was relevant to the fact that we now have a strike force on poor scoring form from open play

Quite funny how a player that has hardly featured for us, is all of a sudden needed? We've needed a new striker for about a year...

Make sure we definitely get SEB.

Then sign another striker in January.

When he was fit and not getting a game, nugent and vardy were apparently contributing enough to the team, now they need to up their game??

Wouldn't be surprised to see wood and it nugent get sold in January.
