cityfanlee23 Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Waghorn? Kinell. We really do need to move on from him now. I'm slowly starting to sway towards wanting Ebanks-Blake. Would you take any loans? And who? I would like to see macheda in a City shirt on loan if fit, Tbh probably wouldn't be that much of a stretch on a perm?? Would United want a lot??
LCFC FOX Posted 12 December 2013 Author Posted 12 December 2013 I would happily give Waghorn another chance, A bit of confidence and him in a better team he could get back to his best

Macheda's been decent, wouldn't be disappointed if we signed him but don't think it'll happen.
Bert Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Might even have a few quid on Nugent hatrickImagine if he did. People would only be allowed to use that in arguments until his next game, but of course when it suits their argument they can slag Nugent off back until January.

He could score 10 goals on Saturday but it doesn't make up for his recent pathetic performances.
Bert Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 He could score 10 goals on Saturday but it doesn't make up for his recent pathetic performances. This is also true, I do agree. He hasn't been good enough. Even when he does have a good game he doesn't get enough credit for it though.

I'd like to think i'd give credit where its due, who ever it might relate too. I don't think GTF is good enough to start for us, NP hasn't dropped Nuge when he had options to do it and now the main replacement is out I can't imagine he will replace Nuge with GTF or Schlupp. Old club syndrome will hopefully come into play at the weekend. Just hope that it's looking down in our favour and not Ben Mee's!
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 He could score 10 goals on Saturday but it doesn't make up for his recent pathetic performances. If he scored a hatrick in every game till the end of season, there'd still be people slagging him offHe'd be smiling too much, and we know how that winds people up
Kitchandro Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Nugent probably did it This couldn't have happened at a worse time.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 And there was me thinking Toms reply was more of a "really" are "you serious ?"
lcfcsnow Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 That's convenient with the window opening in 3 weeks, wouldn't be surprised if he'd put in a transfer request.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 GTF and Hopper upfront vs Man City then. Pls don even go there
cityfanlee23 Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 And there was me thinking Toms reply was more of a "really" are "you serious ?" I know that's what it was ... Which is why I backed up my opinion with why I thought it would t be surprising to see them go?
Devonfox1884 Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 That's convenient with the window opening in 3 weeks, wouldn't be surprised if he'd put in a transfer request. That's actually a really fair point, wouldn't surprise me thinking about it.
cityfanlee23 Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 That's actually a really fair point, wouldn't surprise me thinking about it. 3rd that
ousefox Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Really thought he'd start with Vardy on Saturday. At least Nugent likes scoring against Burnley I suppose.
sylofox Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Nugent likes a goal against Burnley. We'll be fine. Lighten up, people. And the other 4/5 games before he gets back?
Mack Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 **** our luck. Time for Nugent to put his contract frustrations behind him and step up at the weekend.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 It's a squad game, yes it's time for certain players to step up, however talk about overreaction central!
StanSP Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 And the other 4/5 games before he gets back? Like I said, we'll be fine. Implying beyond just the Burnley game.
Silverdaz Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 GTF and Hopper upfront vs Man City then. Hoppers also out injured
Fox92 Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Looking at those names, we aren't very strong strong in that position. I know Waghorn is out on loan but I don't think he's good enough, I've always been undecided on Schlupp as a forward and while I rate GTF as he holds the ball very well, can he sustain that for the whole game? People are harsh on Nuge. I do think he's our best striker, and while he hasn't played well in certain games neither have most of the team.
Walker Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 He's looked disinterested all season, so i'm not sure how disappointed we should be with this really. Hopefully GTF gets a few more chances now, he's looked very classy since arriving.
