LCFC FOX Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 4 weeks according to Nigel Pearson Nugent, Vardy, Schlupp and Taylor-Fletcher
goose2010 Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Yep hamstring injury. Morgan hasnt trained this week either (illness)
Babylon Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Jesus Christ... at least with him on the bench you feel like there is a credible option to change things up front.
billyn88 Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Very bad timing - despite Pearson's loyalty to Nugent I really thought he would get a start this weekend.
Dan Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Awful timing that is especially when you'd think it's about his turn to get a game ahead of Nugent.
lgfualol Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Terrible news. Not confident at all with those strikers.
Corky Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Well, Nugent needs to up his game on Saturday and start contributing more all round.
Russell sprout Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Play gtf with vardy, Keep nugent on his toes even more, Feel that he'll be even more complacent knowing woods injured?
Happy Fox Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Wood wouldn't of made any difference anyway, still need another forward regardless. Nugent and Vardy will produce the goods provided we play 4-4-2.
StanSP Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Nugent likes a goal against Burnley. We'll be fine. Lighten up, people.
Ric Flair Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Yeah Nuge is nailed on for a goal on Saturday.
whitlock Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 I'm pretty annoyed by this because I think its time that Nugent was finally given a 'rest' (dropped) but in fairness we are where we are in the league with having both Nuge and Vardy play up top. More worried about having no Wes at CB. Having two new CBs against Burnley worries me more than no Wood.
cityfanlee23 Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Quite funny how a player that has hardly featured for us, is all of a sudden needed? We've needed a new striker for about a year... Make sure we definitely get SEB. Then sign another striker in January. When he was fit and not getting a game, nugent and vardy were apparently contributing enough to the team, now they need to up their game?? Wouldn't be surprised to see wood and it nugent get sold in January.
joeasis Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 as if we'd sell both Wood and Nugent in january
foxfanazer Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 Bad news. Definitely need to add a winger and a striker in Jan even if they're loan signings. I'd have started Wood on saturday if he was fit
cityfanlee23 Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 as if we'd sell both Wood and Nugent in january Wouldn't surprise me with Nigel tbh..... Look at Marshall, very much like nugent and wood, electric from the start then played shit for months, Ben Marshall's departure was very sudden and not speculated when it happened... Wood and nuge have done the same tbh, wood has been quite Injury prone in his short career so far and nugent is completely gone
