They could even do it kariokie style and put the words up on the score board. Then no one would have an excuse for not joining in. Other than the fact they had a gob full of prawn sarrnies lol

Yeah, because that's what I said? I don't disagree with you but the Jersey Budd version is, in my opinion, whiny shite. A few in SK1 manage to sing it normally the last few times I've been in there.

You don't need music playing to sing it at a proper tempo. I've said this many a time on here but WYS only gets criticised because it's sung woefully. If You'll Never Walk Alone was sung as quickly and as passionless as WYS was then that would sound shit too.

Some lads in a social club who used to hear whatever the old dears were listening to and then chanted it at Filbo the next Saturday for a laugh. WYS is the one that stuck? Might be complete bollocks but I'm sure I read that somewhere.

It's the fact everyone sings it too fast. The whole hand movement thing at the end is just a blur now. People have posted video clips on here before of some of the old crooners singing it properly, but people still insist on singing it too fast ( as they do with most of the songs).

I've heard it more this season in L/K, still not many but keep plugging away and get this song back properly where it belongs as *the* terrace anthem

Is it possible for one of you moderators to place it as one of the pinned topics ( is that the right term?) at the top of the discussion topics list for a few weeks so more people see it??? Just an idea. I am now prepared to incur the usual wrath and sarcasm of the great wits that troll this discussion board.
