yorkie1999 Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 If people are going to complain because we are singing and creating an atmosphere they will soon move. Its only going to get bigger which I see as a good thing I'm not complaining, bring it on is what i say and probably most of the people round me. I thought it was great when the fosse boys were at the back of Sk1. The point i'm making is why should my season ticket be relocated as suggested in the previous post. Plus don't bring that fvcking drum with yer.
sylofox Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Breaking news Fans at a football match charged with disrupting the peace. Prawn sandwich eating fans at the KP stadium complained to the police about noise from SK1. Police arrested about 800 fans for singing and a dozen ring leaders. FoxesTalk is to be raided as some fans escaped the police. Nxt week man arrested for doing a shite in a public toilet.

Plus don't bring that fvcking drum with yer. I think asking fans to relocate is a bit far. But if they are prepared for people standing and sing constantly all game behind them then they can stay. But if they're going to moan about us being too noisy then the logic is to move. After all the KOP is meant to be the singing section and would be where standing is fitted.
C-man Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 There's no point even going down this road to be fair. There is no chance in hell the club would take the side of people trying to stand and sing over people wanting to sit and watch the game. I agree. I know I said 'ultimate goal' earlier but it's almost certainly fantasy stuff. Having said that and in answer to Bert's point, I'd personally consider anyone - be it the club or individuals - trying to obstruct the positive support of the team in any way fairly selfish to be honest. At the end of the day the better supporters we can be, the better for the team, no? I appreciate that people like their seats - I do too and would be sad to move - but surely they have to understand the intentions behind it are positive and in support of the Club? I mean, do these people get so upset when the Club only opens 2 stands that they refuse to attend? What if our attendances fell to 15k and they closed the corner? Would they accept a relocation or would they call it a day? I expect I know the answer to both questions. Sorry Yorkie: I don't mean to be deliberately difficult or rude, as I said I understand that people would be reluctant to move.

Nobody is asking you to move mate, by all means stay there, People are just planning to move near you to the Non Season ticket spaces, It will be planned that all vocal fans move there... But of course this could easily happen by chance that people got tickets there, So it's not a case of telling you to piss off cos this is our spot, We cannot move anybody.. we just want to move into the Non ST holder seats

cityfanlee23 Posted 20 December 2013 Author Posted 20 December 2013 Yes they were, It was suggested that the area be a non season ticket area. Oh right, I did not see that to be honest with you! I don't see how that could happen tbh, the club probably wouldn't support it...
C-man Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Yes they were, It was suggested that the area be a non season ticket area. Out of interest, why would you be so against it? As it is unreserved there would be nothing stopping you from using your season ticket to get into the block and use your current seat?
C-man Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Just to clarify, this was hardly an instruction Just a potential long-term strategy to improve the atmosphere. It's not like I was suggesting we switch the...

As it is unreserved there would be nothing stopping you from using your season ticket to get into the block and use your current seat? Basically i like my seat. Its a great veiw, there's 10 of us that sit together and with my ticket and my lads ticket on an early bird and 10% discount it works out to be about 120 quid a year cheaper than the seats right next to us in the east stand. The stairs are next to us so i can get a pint at half time pretty easy.

Completely unrelated, but where does 1999 come from you mentioned getting a pint but I always assumed you were just 15 years old, An incredibly well spoken 15 year old in all fairness

Walker Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 So is the Middlesbrough game pencilled in for this? I reckon I could get a few down in this section if so.
LCFC FOX Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 So is the Middlesbrough game pencilled in for this? I reckon I could get a few down in this section if so. At the moment yes. But really it depends on if either Leicester or Middlesbrough win their cup tie. If one of them do then this game will be rearranged.
Walker Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Oh right, no worries. Looking forward to it already http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/andy-mitten-david-moyes-impressed-6434844 Very positive article by the way for those who haven't read it. Just shows even with 75k fans at every home game, they're still bothered about some fans 'matchday experience'. Fair play to them.
Maybes Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 On a serious note if the South Stand ever did get going I would be back in there with a flash.
LCFC FOX Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 On a serious note if the South Stand ever did get going I would be back in there with a flash. Maybe you can see how it looks for the first game and if you see us having some fun and making some noise you can come over for a game for the second game we do it
