If the club don't buy it (although i'm sure they will) maybe we could organize some kind of syndicate?.

Couldn't we all chip in a bit then donate it to the club afterwards?

I'm sure the club will buy it. If they can wipe out £103 mill debt, they can spend abit on a piece of history. Shouldn't be down to us to buy and donate it to them. Would be ashamed of lcfc if they didn't go through with it.

I meant as more as a contingency plan if the club doesn't buy it.

See what you mean though.

It should be brought by the club and displayed to the fans, it's a masterpiece.

The detailing is astonishing, even down to the graffiti at the back of the Double Decker.

As Larry says, it would be beyond disappointing if the club didn't buy it.

Do we know if anyone has contacted the club since the news of it being for sale? It really is a drop in the pond for them.

I know the seller said 4 figures but it would be nice to know how much. There's a good chance we could raise the money on here. How much did stringer raise on his Q&A?

We only needed #1000 to sponsor a player and we couldn't raise that.

Sponsoring a player is gash compared to this though.

Best of luck Mickey, i have a couple of your models and they are brilliant....

I hope the club buy it as it deserves to be on public display for generations of fans to see.....

That's magnificent work and what a tragedy that you've lost function in your arms. I hope you continue to derive as much pleasure from model building as you always did.
