From what little I saw of him, seemed to have decent technique and passing, but to be painfully slow of thought and movement beyond any player I've seen at that level (L1). 

 

To be fair, he barely played and was very young....but his brain must have speeded up a hell of a lot for him now to be deemed a Championship footballer, given the closing down that is done in this league.

 

That said, wasn't he at Liverpool or Everton before us, so people obviously keep seeing some potential in him....

 

Seemed more suited to the slower continental game than the Championship from what I saw.
