DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 They have been used at Reading and Oxford for sure. I was on duty and saw them come out of the van. Usually kept at Wycombe nick. We always used Spaniels, and bloody brilliant they were too.

Kitchandro Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 Me and my dad were parked at the train station, on the way back we were walking towards the car park and some copper stopped us and asked where we were going. Now, He could have just been some nice local police officer wanting to help with directions (though the ones at the station about 10 yards away were apparently from Nottingham and were no use at all when we asked where the pay station was) but I've got a feeling he was obliged to ask everyone just in case they said 'I'm going into town to have a scrap with some Stoke fans'. There must have been about 200 cops there after the match, most of which were just standing on the road outside having a chat. It took us over half an hour to get out of the ground on the bus. They actually locked us in. Very much a police state, and just cos a few thousand people want to watch a football match.

If I really wanted to throw something at the players, taking my lid off me wouldn't prevent it. Just succeeds in pissing people off. At our place they sell bottles inside the stadium with the tops on, so whats the difference? Again, Ive only ever had that at PL groundsThat's so annoying!! Every time this happens your guaranteed a mad celebration which will result in you knocking your bottle of coke over and spilling the entire contents! Although maybe that wasn't the case yesterday!

Again, Ive only ever had that at PL grounds No, it won't prevent you from throwing it, but it will prevent you from seriously hurting someone. If a full bottle with the lid on, keeping both the contents and air pressure inside, hits someone after being thrown it could cause some serious damage, if there's no lid then it becomes very light and not going to hurt someone majorly. It's a pretty sensible idea.

Perhaps it will end when football fans stop acting like twats, I don't see any condemnation of whoever brought the Pyro in, but that is exactly why policing gets bumped up, you may disagree with the rule, but they are banned and if people don't respect that then expect policing to increase. I appreciate that there is an element of treat football fans like criminals and we will behave like criminals, but every week we see dickhead fans across the country acting like dickheads and that ruins it for the rest of us. Look at Arsenal Spurs yesterday, twats throwing coins at Walcott and the stretcher bearers.

Bottle lids are not the problem people who are immature and get an ego trip from standing in a group of other adults making themselves feel less cowardly are

About time they actually started punishing the trouble makers and stopped punishing the majority for the minority's actions. Not that I expect it to happen when a frightening number actually make excuses for the stupid rules.
