Could you share the link please mate, i'm travelling from London too!

I'm guessing train not coach..

Yep, train. I'd share the link but I bought it 4 weeks ago and get 40% off Virgin Trains through work! Same ones cost £48 if you wanted to get them. You can get back for £12.50 but getting up there is steep. Might be able to do cheaper if you split the ticket.

Oh I see. I've managed to get it down to £31.50 doing what you said but in reverse. I'd rather leave at 8 am then not get home until after midnight. Thanks anyway mate!

Have a little faith, it should be bloody good IMO

I can't remember being at an away game with a large following where the atmosphere was great I'm afraid.

Even at QPR with our fans stretched across the entire stand the atmosphere was disjointed at best.

Peterborough gave us an entire stand and that was great until we went 2-1 down last season. Leyton orient in the league 1 days was an amazing atmosphere and we took around 3500-4000 there and had one side of the ground! "Left side, right side" gets it going!

The terracing and low roof would've helped at Posh combined with their dislike of us. I'd beva bit more confident if Wigan had a decent home crowd

I'm hoping to go. Have family (in-laws) in Wigan. But will have to sit in Wigan end :-)

Not one to normally support sitting with away fans but your case is a little different.

But wigan are not a club you would associate with trouble and not with us(unless some one knows different)

If you go about it right I think you could have a good day sat with the enemy so to speek.

Bearing in mind they will still have to play qpr and burnley wish them all the look for the rest of the season and if we get our heads together and hit one stand I would not see many problems.

An away game I may get too so will praps be looking at the home end as will not get a ticket from LCFC.

We needed Cardiff to beat Sunderland to win div2 (as it was) hundereds with radios on in the ground.

70% invaded the pitch at the end and we did our own Scotland and took the goal posts from one end home.

Think it was Jon o'niel left the pitch without his shorts he got stripped. lol lol lol

I'm hoping if our results are still good between now and then it should be a fantastic atmosphere as we will be that bit closer to our aim hopefully :fc:

As much as I'd love to see this I doubt it would happen now! Footballs changed so much even in my lifetime! Definite pitch invasion come may the 4th though ;)

That day was one + the lawlessness of football in the day that was a great. Pluss no trouble just a party.

Sad really some of you missed out it will never return and never be the same.

To go away and see all the home fans in one little corner was unreal.

Was better than a home game at the time lollollol

Do hope you all see some of it this season.

We had 2 party's that year a promo party and a title party.

Hoping the way this season is going (not counting chickens though) we get to have 3 or 4 party games.
