I do genuinely rate Neil Lennon as a manager. If for whatever reason we need a change soon (I know we won't but) then he would be top of my list.

Fair enough his SPL wins might be underwhelming but he's done great with them in the Champions League the last few years

Celtic would be a massive improvement for the premier league, When a team like coventry fold, they should be able to join IMO,

Personally I think the premier league Need a team like celtic.

 

I'd have a bet with anybody here, That IF celtic ever get to join the premiership (Which personally I think they will in the next 5 years) they would be in the top 4 and challenging the title within 5 years.

 

So when a League One team folds, we should bring in a Scottish club to play in the Premier League?

Although the league is poor, they are a MASSIVE club.. bigger than 3/4 of premier league teams.

And many more have all said they are one of the biggest clubs in the world... Ibrahimovich has publicly quoted he would like to end his career there...

 

If celtic played in the english premiership they would be challenging within 5 years. They turn a £20m profit in the SPL (Alot due to champions league)

With Tv revenue, sponsorships, constant big attendances.. they would make huge amounts in the english premiership...

 

problem is in the league, they cannot easily attract your rooneys, your ronaldos etc... but if you can do it with league 1 strikers, it turns profits...

...but they're not in the Premiership! If they were they would be fighting for relagation with the crap team they have.

I said within 5 years. The best players in the world have openly said they would play for celtic. In the premier league they can financially sustain it.

Yeah I understand they have good atmosphere and can be insanely good on European nights and what have you. But not one of those quotes bar Zlatan, is from some of the worlds best players "openly saying they'd PLAY for Celtic"

I did not say that any other players would "PLAY" for celtic did I? I only quoted zlatan would.. which he did.. the other players have said that celtic have one of the best heritages, best clubs, and hardest team to beat in european football... Yet people are quoting that many of their players couldnt get into Leicester city! haha absolutely sums up our fans (I know you didnt say that heggs)

 

However Scott brown is better than our midfield IMO

Why do you love Scott Brown and Celtic so much Lee?

Not that I love them "so much" I like Celtic always have done....

I just don't think Scott brown is shit and would get in our squad and a lot of premiership squads....

So I'll defend my opinion...

Problem is other peoples opinion is based on a league they do not watch... When I watch Celtic almost every month when I go up there
