sylofox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Ok excluding WYS and songs specific to the club what is your favourite song. In the vein of my favourite that has to be. Cheer up Mark McGee. Oh and funny one's on the day only type songs (with words if poss)
Weller in Tights Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 It has to be "Who let the dogs out" against Newcastle as their team came out. Even the Newcastle fans applauded. We don't do it often down City, but just occasionally we get it perfect!! For the younger ones, ask you're dad why it was perfect.

THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Probably "Leicester, leicester, leicesterrrrr, leicester, leicester, leicester, leicester" Very profound
Unabomber Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Probably "Leicester, leicester, leicesterrrrr, leicester, leicester, leicester, leicester" Very profound I always wanna get involved in this one, but can never remember the words.
Weller in Tights Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Actually a top chant at the correct time E.g. Whenever we play Chelsea. As back in the 70's, they would try to shout us down using 'Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea ...' And the usual response by the Kop (filbert street days) was to reply with 'Leicester, Leicester, Leicester ... ' but obviously louder and until the racist right wing Chelsea scum would shut up.
Voll Blau Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Always enjoy singing "Chelsea Rentboys" at fans of any London teams, and when "Zeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeatz" gets an airing...

bovril Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 "Barcelona, Real Madrid, they'll make a mighty bid" (best sung when losing at home to Bristol City)
sylofox Posted 20 February 2014 Author Posted 20 February 2014 Happy Days Irony by the way, irony Off topic but when the kids on here say they wish they had been there they don't realise how bad it was. It was not the fun they think it was and we were lucky we never lost anyone. My mate was knocked out sparko by a hp2 battery (not sure what they call them today but it's a big fvcker)
AdamLCFC Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Can anybody tell me the words to the chant that ends something like ...you can't beat Leicester anymore
Tom17LCFC Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Can anybody tell me the words to the chant that ends something like ...you can't beat Leicester anymore Bring on the Sunderland and Arsenal Bring on the scousers by the score Barcelona, Real Madrid, they will make a mighty bid But they won't beat the Leicester anymore

My mate was knocked out sparko by a hp2 battery (not sure what they call them today but it's a big fvcker) Believe me Sylo, I really was being ironic. Been there many times in the 70's/80's with City and England. Much prefer now, being able to take my 13 yr old to the games in safety. I do still want the singing/chanting/atmosphere to be top, and that's why I loved the ' who let the dogs out' chant, it was football banter at its best.
65RosesFox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 A few of the chants after the La Manga incident were quite good. Can't remeber who we were playing at home but some of the chants were 'La la la la Manga' (La Bamba tune) 'You couldn't score in La Manga' as well
pleatout Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Who the f..., who the f.... who the f....ing hell are you? As Molby, Rush, Grobbelar, Neal, Hanson, Lawrenson, etc etc etc ran out at Anfield.
bovril Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 We'll never be mastered by no Forest bastard...
sylofox Posted 20 February 2014 Author Posted 20 February 2014 Thanks, why 'by the score' Cos it fits
Weller in Tights Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Thanks, why 'by the score' Score means a number, commonly means 20 or near 20, So 'by the score' means bring a load of the scouser scum on, we don't care
